We are committed to develop this University into an Institution to provide quality medical education and most efficient but affordable medical treatment to the patients of State of Rajasthan. Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology is so far the only self financing residential Medical University in the State of Rajasthan. In contrast to others it is a unitary University exclusively dedicated to the medical education.
The University proposes to develop innovative courses in Medical, Dental and other disciplines to provide a thrust for creating a rather new education in medical sciences. Para Medical and parallel medical courses of different kinds ranging from M.Sc./B.Sc. to University Advanced Certificate Courses have been launched as a part of our efforts to develop this University as an Institution of excellence. The University has also started courses of allied Medical Technology which are solely related to medical sciences.
We have more than 1100 bedded teaching hospital known as Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and also have a full fledged teaching Dental Hospital � both located in the same University campus. The teaching Hospitals besides having the training facilities for MBBS & BDS and PG courses of MD/MS & MDS in almost all the disciplines permitted/recognized by their Statutory Councils and Government of India also have many specialties which make it distinctive from other routine medical college hospital. We have the Super Specialties Services of Cardio-thoracic Surgery, Cardiology, Urology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Gast roentero logy, Endocr ino logy, C l in ica l Haematology and Rheumatology. First cadaveric renal transplant and first heart transplant in the State of Rajasthan have been successfully performed here.

Our Mission
India Education Trust is the sponsoring body of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur and established as a Public Charitable Trust duly registered with Devasthan Department, Government of Rajasthan, vide registration no. 20 / Jaipur / 1999 dt. 24-5-1999, under Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959. (Act No. 42 of 1959). The Trust is also registered with the Income Tax Department under Section 11 of Income Tax Act, 1961 and is exempted from tax. The main objectives of the Trust are - to continuously improve the health status of people by providing primary as well as advanced health care, to establish hospitals including specialty and super-specialty clinics, dispensaries, maternity homes and RCH centres, to develop and administer research and educational institutions including medical, dental, nursing and pharmacy, to develop health manpower by creating training centres for medical and allied health care professionals and to promote and subsidize activities of other educational institutions which are catering and improving public health at large.

Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology and the Institutions attached to it are situated in a unitary campus in RIICO Institutional Area, Sitapura, Tonk Road on Jaipur-Kota National Highway, Jaipur - 302 022. The campus is just 9 km from the Sanganer Airport.
The entire land of about 36.5 acres has been developed into a self-sufficient campus in all respects. Today it is an oasis of peace and tranquility away from the noise and pollution of the urban conglomerates devoted to promoting excellence in educational and scientific endeavour. Comprehensive and ergonomic environmental planning of buildings, rooftop solar panels, roads, water supply, drainage, sewage, lawns and gardens have ensured 100% space utility with cost effectiveness. Dr M L Swarankar is the Chairman & Managing Trustee, India Education Trust, Sponsoring Body of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur and Chairperson, Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur, the first and the only residential Medical University in the State of Rajasthan, established under the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Act No. 22 of 2011.
Dr Swarankar is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, a Physician of International Eminence in the field of Assisted Reproductive Physiology and a Specialist in Reproductive Medicine and IVF. He graduated with a gold medal from the University of Rajasthan and completed his post graduation from Nation's Premier Medical institute PGIMER, Chandigarh in 1982.
He had his basic In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) training from the University of Liverpool, UK. He had extensive training in USA, Germany, France & Australia etc., in the field of Advance Reproductive Technology & Microsurgery. He is the founder director of Jaipur Fertility Centre (now an urban satellite centre, a Unit of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur) which is the first centre of Rajasthan & North India to have successful IVF programme and delivered more than ten thousand babies to infertile couples in the last two decades.
Ever since Dr M L Swarankar became a doctor he had a dream to make a Medical Institute par excellence which could provide quality medical education & world class quality health services to the community, especially to the poor and needy, as he desires to serve them on priority.

Dr Vikas Chandra Swarankar is presently the Pro Chairperson / Pro Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur, the first private medical University in the State and is also the Director of Jaipur Fertility Centre, nation�s pioneering Fertility & IVF Centre.
He is one of the few clinicians in the State to have double Post Graduate degrees of Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery and in OBGYN. He was awarded a gold medal for topping the Post Graduate Examination. He graduated in medicine from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital in 2009.
His area of interest is Reproductive Medicine and Advanced Reproductive Technology (ART), specializing in IVF-ISCI and Endoscopy. He has over 5 years of experience as a Fertility Physician and Endoscopist.
Apart from being a specialty doctor, Dr Vikas Swarankar is also an Administrator and Health Care Entrepreneur. He has over 10 years of experience in managing a large 1400-bedded University teaching hospital - Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. He has been an active witness to the growth story of this Hospital and is determined to take it to newer heights and make it a Centre of excellence in a number of medical super specialities.

Dr M C Misra is the President / Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur.
The President is the Chief Executive of the University and has control over the academic and administrative management of the Institution.
He has held many distinguished positions such as Director,Professor of Surgery, Department of Surgical Disciplines andChief, J P N Apex Trauma Centre, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
Dr Misra has been recipient of Dr B C Roy National Award; honored with Citation and Medallion by the President of India in 1997. He is a medical man of National and International repute and a man of fame in the areas of Trauma care, Minimal access surgery, Breast oncology, Biliary tract surgery, Hernia surgery and Surgical education. His contribution in teaching, research and medical education is widely acclaimed.

Dr Sudhir Sachdev, Pro-President / Pro Vice-Chancellor oversees University's vast infrastructure, providing leadership and strategic vision across all aspects of MGUMST. As the Pro-President he is responsible for administering the academic programme, including both instruction and research, and also for the coordination of the administrative and support functions of the University with its academic purposes.
Dr Sachdev is a Member, Medical Council of India, a Professor of Anaesthesiology and has been an integral part in the growth of the institution since its inception. He believes in a holistic environment that contributes in learning and parting knowledge, both in as well as outside the classroom. He focuses to provide hands on learning and ample scope for co-curricular activities, giving a platform for the all-round development of the students. He believes that the students of the University should be competitive at not just national but also on international level in all walks of life.
Dr Sudhir Sachdev has been an Anaesthesiologist at Jaipur Fertility & Microsurgery Research Centre (The Nation's premier Centre for Advanced Reproductive Technology and Gynaecological Endoscopy) for more than 16 years. He has been an observer in the Dept. of Anaesthesia at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York.
Dr Sachdev is also widely recognized as a connoisseur of arts and culture. He is an outstanding orator, debater, litterateur, writer, actor and compere of the stage with proven proficiency in organizing and producing stage and cultural activities.

Dr Ajay Sharma, Registrar of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur has a long and vast experience of University administration. Before joining the Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur he served the University of Rajasthan for 27 years on various posts viz. Assistant Registrar, Dy. Registrar and the Administrative Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor.
Dr Sharma holds Ph.D. and worked as a faculty in various institutions. He was awarded French Government fellowship for carrying out Post Doctoral Research work at "Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique" Versailles, Paris, France for two years. He published many research papers on Plant diseases in National and International Journals. He also participated in several National and International Seminars/Conferences/Workshops. He also had an opportunity to work at Pasteur Institute, Paris and INRA Bordeaux, France.
Dr Sharma passed Certificate, Diploma and Post-Diploma examinations in German and French Languages from the University of Rajasthan. He is an executive member of Indo-French Society.
For his excellent services in the Examination Secrecy Department, Dr Sharma was honoured by the Vice-Chancellor, University of Rajasthan as one of the best Officers in the University. His immense administrative and academic experience will contribute substantially in the development of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur.

Medical Facilities and Health Care
An annual complete medical check-up for the entire course is conducted for all the students for which Rs. 5000/- are required to be deposited by the student at the time of admission. Every student is also immunized against Hepatitis-B and other infectious diseases where indicated.
Library
Apart from Institutional Libraries, there is an air-conditioned Central Library - "Dr K D Gupta Knowledge Resource Center" situated in the academic block of the University at the ground floor area. The timing of the Library is from 9 am to 12 midnight on all working days and from 9 am to 4 pm on holidays. It has Internet facilities with accessibility to Meddler and Pub-Med with 40 computer terminals, available to all.
Hostel Facilities
� There are separate hostels for boys and girls in the campus.
� Hostel accommodation to all the students admitted to any course in the Institution is compulsory so as to maintain regularity, standard of medical education and discipline. However an exemption in this regard can be given to the students.
� Hostel accommodation is allotted only on the production of ID card, copy of hostel fee receipt and joining report of the course submitted to the Principal.
Hostel Rules (for both Boys & Girls Hostels)
1. Students will be held fully responsible for any loss or damage to electrical fittings, furniture etc., in their room (s).
2. Students should not keep expensive items or gold articles in their rooms. The college holds no responsibility for any loss or theft.
3. No student shall permit any stranger / friend / relation / unauthorized person to stay in his / her room even for a short period and if found doing so, the student shall be liable for serious action including expulsion from the hostel.
4. No female shall be allowed to enter the hostel / rooms except the guest room in boys' hostel and vice-versa no male is allowed in the girls' hostel/rooms.
5. All lights and fans must be switched off and water taps must be turned off before leaving the room, failing which a fine will be imposed for each item found switched on when the room is locked.
6. Students are required to write their names and addresses in the register maintained for the purpose with the Warden before leaving for outstation on weekends or holidays after obtaining due permission.
7. No student should be rough to the mess employees. Any complaint against any mess employee(s) must be brought to the notice of the Warden immediately.
8. Where mess facility is available, all the students are expected to take their meals at the prescribed time in the mess and not in their rooms.
9. No student should create any disturbance or nuisance for the fellow residents by roaming around in the corridors or staircase. Playing radios or audio systems at late hours during the night is strictly prohibited.

17. The Principal & Controller of the Institute would decide regulations on matters not included above.
Additional Rules/Instructions for Girls Hostel Residents:
1. Parent / Guardian are expected to produce a list of probable visitors of the student with specimen signature and photograph of those visitors along with their own.
2. If the parent / guardian is not able to produce this on admission he is expected to send the same soon, without which no visitor would be permitted to meet the hosteller.
3. Nobody else will be allowed to meet or take the student out either from the college or from the hostel.
4. Persons other than those who bring letter from the parents / guardian or those other than from the authorized list will in no way be permitted to meet / take the student out.
5. Each student will be issued a check-out book containing 20 leaves during the whole year. This book will not be reissued (even if lost) and is non transferable.
6. During holidays parent / guardians are expected
10. Any student found taking drugs or alcohol or in possession of alcoholic drinks or any kind of narcotic / intoxicating drug will be expelled from the hostel. A periodic or / random breath analyzer check to detect level of alcohol in blood may be carried out in the hostels / premises of the University at any time. Disciplinary action will be taken against such student who is found positive for the same and the charges for the test shall be paid by the student, Charges per test � Rs. 500.00. In addition to this, penalty may be imposed on him.
11. Discovery of any lethal weapons or arms in possession of a student, shall invite his expulsion from the college without any enquiry.
12. No student of the hostel shall be absent from the hostel without written permission of the Warden. Students wishing to visit friends or relatives allowed by the parents even on holidays shall obtain prior written permission of the Warden.
13. On working days even if a student goes out with prior sanction or permission, he/she is expected to be back by 8 pm to the hostel.
14. In times of emergency if parents / guardian want the students to visit them, intimation must be sent to College / Hostel through proper channel.
15. Any student found violating any of the above instructions / rules shall render himself to disciplinary action before the committee.

to accompany or send authorization letters to the College, failing which the student will not be allowed to leave the hostel.
7. The student is expected to reach the hostel at the stipulated time and sign the register kept for the purpose on entry, which will be checked periodically.
8. Outings and shopping must be intimated to the authority concerned and prior permission must be obtained with statement of check out and check in timings failing which disciplinary action will be taken.
9. No male relatives will be allowed to enter inside the hostel rooms. Their entry will be restricted to the visiting room.
10. Female relatives/friends are allowed to visit the inmates but they can not stay beyond 8 pm.
11. Students are expected to attend college on the reopening day after vacation. No excuse will be considered.
Discipline 1. A candidate selected for admission shall be
subject to the disciplinary rules of the Institution.
2. If any candidate / authorized representative or accompanying person is found obstructing the admission process, trying to influence in unlawful manner / creating nuisance then the candidate shall be liable for disqualification from the process of selection. The decision taken by the institution in this respect shall be final and binding as well.

Prevention and Prohibition of Ragging
Ragging of fresher / junior is strictly prohibited in and outside the campus of the university. Those, who are found guilty of ragging / abetting ragging, shall be punished severely as per the relevant regulations of the MCI / DCI / INC / UGC and the provisions of the Act of the Centra l Government and the State Government.
"Ragging� includes the following:
Any conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of harassing, teasing, treating or handling with rudeness any other student, indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in a fresher or a junior student or asking the students to do any act or perform something which such student will not in the ordinary course and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of a fresher or a junior student.
Punishable ingredients of Ragging:
� Abetment to ragging;
� Criminal conspiracy to rag;
� Unlawful assembly and rioting while ragging;
� Public nuisance created during ragging;
� Violation of decency and morals through ragging;
� Injury to body, causing hurt or grievous hurt;
� Wrongful restraint;
� Wrongful confinement;
� Use of criminal force;
� Assault as well as sexual offences or even unnatural offences;
� Extortion;
� Criminal trespass;
� Offences against property;
� Criminal intimidation;

� Attempts to commit any or all of the above mentioned offences against the victim(s);
� Physical or psychological humiliation.
� All other offences following from the definition of �Ragging�
Ragging shall be considered as a cognizable offence under the law at par with rape and other atrocities against women and ill treatment of persons belonging to the SC / ST. Strict action shall be taken against those found guilty of ragging or of abetting ragging. Online undertaking of the effect that he/she is aware of law regarding prohibition of ragging as well as the punishment and further that he/she has not been expelled and/or debarred from admission by any institution and he / she if found guilty of the offence of ragging and / or abetting ragging is liable to be punished appropriately including even arrest by Police, by each student and every parent is to be submitted in every academic year including year of admission and submit the copy of the same received through E-mail to the Principal and Chief Warden of the hostel. Awardable Punishments at the College / Institution level:
Depending upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established by the Anti-Ragging Committee of the institution, the possible punishments for those found guilty of ragging at the institution level shall be any one or any combination of the following:
� Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges.
� Withholding / withdrawing scholarship / fellowship and other benefits
� Debarring from appearing in any test / examination or other evaluation Process.
� Withholding results
� Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival, etc.
� Suspension / expulsion from the hostel
� Rustication from the institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semesters
� Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution for a specific period.
� Fine of Rs. 25,000.00 and Rs. 1 lakh.
� Collective punishment: When the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified, the institution shall resort to collective punishment.
� Cancellation of admission.
University Rules and Regulations All students shall abide by the University/College Rules and Regulations, which are mentioned below :
1. Regularity and punctuality in lectures, demonstrations, practicals, clinical and class examinations are compulsory. Students, who do not show satisfactory progress and are found shallow in their conduct, will not be allowed to appear in the University examinations. Students, who do not maintain a satisfactory academic standard and conduct, will not be allowed to hold any office in the College or participate in any extracurricular activities.
2. Minimum required attendance as per the regulations of the Dental Council of India is compulsory. Any one failing to achieve this, shall not be allowed to appear in the University examination.
3. Students are not allowed to paste any notice(s) within the Institute, without prior permission from the office of the Principal. They are also forbidden to communicate with any outside agency / author i t y d i rec t l y . A l l such communications must be submitted through the Principal, who will forward these to the office of the Chairperson, if considered desirable. Any student infringing this rule may be suspended.
4. The College does not hold itself responsible for debts incurred by the Students.
5. No two wheeler (LMV)/four wheeler is allowed in the University campus. An undertaking to this effect has to be furnished by every candidate at the time of admission.
6. Strictly forbidden in any part of the university /college are:
a) Possession or use of alcoholic beverages,
b) Smoking, tobacco, pan masala etc,
c) Po s se s s i on o r u se o f add i c t i v e o r hallucinogenic drugs,
d) Gambling,

e) Possession or use of firearms or any lethal weapons.
f) Loitering around, especially under the influence of alcohol.
7. Students must pay for all damages caused by them to instruments, equipments, books and other college property.
8. Practices such as smoking, taking alcohol, narcotic drugs, 'Pep' pills and smoking 'pot' which lead to degeneration of physical well being, loss of moral and spiritual values and damaging of personality are strictly prohibited in the college premises and hostels. Violation of these rules and regulations is viewed by the authorities as a serious offence and it may lead to disciplinary action even leading to suspension / expulsion from the college. Use of vulgar language and use of violence are also prohibited. Dancing in the College premises is discouraged.
9. Any illness or / and minor ailment must be reported to the Principal or Warden as early as possible.
10. Students must arrange for washable white coats, which are to be worn at all times in the college, laboratories and on hospital duty and also for their own dissecting instruments. Girls must put their hair up when at study in the college or hospital.
11. College fees must be paid in full by the dates specified by the University. Any student whose fee, together with the fine if imposed, is still unpaid will be suspended from attending lectures / practical.
12. Indiscipline of any kind shall be an offence punishable by orders amounting to even the expulsion of the student.
13. The College is basically residential providing all amenities for physical and spiritual well being of the students.
14. Hostel accommodation to all the residents admitted to Post Graduate Medical Courses is compulsory so as to maintain regularity, standard of medical education and discipline.
15. Sick leave: In all cases of illness recommendation of sick leave in writing by the Warden or Medical Officer must be presented to the Principal. Further, students should present sick leave certificate to the Principal after presenting the
leave slips to the department concerned.
16. Other leaves: Taking leave during the term is discouraged. However, if urgently required for any reason, parents or legal guardian of the hosteller should apply with a letter to the Principal through the Warden. Application should be sent well in advance. Students should inform the Warden before leaving the hostel when they proceed on weekend or any other leave. All students are required to inform the Principal and Warden in writing before they leave the hostel for more than 24 hours.
17. Official Leave: Students requiring leave for taking part in sports or games on behalf of the College should apply to the Principal through the Warden. Application should be sent well in advance.
18. (i) Dental of India Regulations for the CouncilDegree of Bachelor of Dental surgery, 2007 (Amended from time to time).
(ii) The Central Govt. "Policy guidelines" on Admission of students and charging of Fee in Private medical and dental colleges and other Professional Institutions imparting education in health sciences in pursuance of the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the judgment dated 31.10.2002 in the TMA Pai Foundation Case (vide Letter No. V-11025/1/2003-ME(P.I) dated 14th May 2003) Islamic Academy & P.A. Inamdar & State Karnataka.
(iii) The State Govt. directives 2009, (Justice Israni Committee recommendations).
(iv) The Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur Act 2011.
(v) Dental Council of India Gazette Notification(s) issued from time to time.

a. NRI / Management Category seats � 15% of total intake - 09 Seats
NRI Quota - Children / Wards of Non Resident Indians (NRI). NRI Quota includes Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) as per the orders of the Supreme Court of India in WP(C) No. 689/2017.
Management Quota (Subject to approval by the Government of Rajasthan) - Candidates from all over India (Rajasthan Domicile not necessary) shal l be al lowed for admiss ion under Management Quota.
b. State Quota seats (Payment seats) - 85% of total intake - 51 Seats
Eligibility Criteria �
1. The candidate must have qualified National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET UG � 2019.
2. The candidate must fulfill the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in merit list, medical fitness and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the Government of India, the Government of Rajasthan and the MGUMST.
3. The candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year BDS course.
4. The upper age limit of the candidate is 25 years on the date of NEET � UG of the year of admission with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and persons entitled for reservation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
5. Candidates seeking admission to BDS course under any category including NRI, OCI, PIO and Foreign Nationals shall be required to qualify NEET � UG 2019 for admission to BDS course.
6. The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in the Dental Council of India Revised BDS Course Regulations 2007 as amended from time to time.
In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examinations shall be 40% marks instead of 50% marks for General category candidates. In respect of candidates with Bench Mark Disabilities specified under the Rights of Person with Disabilities Act, 2016, the minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) taken together in qualifying examination shall be 45% instead of 50% for General category candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
The students educated abroad seeking admission in Mahatma Gandhi Dental college, Jaipur must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English up to the 12th standard level with 50% marks and their equivalency determined as per regulations of the Dental Council of India and the University.

Reservation �
Reservation of the seats for respective categories shall be as per applicable Reservation Policy of Government of Rajasthan prevailing at the time of admission.
Foreign Students
Foreign students from other countries should possess passport, visa and exchange permits valid for the period of their course of study in this Institution and should also observe the regulations of both central and state governments regarding residential permits and obtain no-objection certificate.
The candidates should have provisional "Student Visa". If they come on any other visa and are selected for admission, they will have to first obtain Student Visa from their country and then only they will be allowed to join the course. Therefore it is imperative to obtain provisional Student Visa before coming for counseling by the Admission Board.

Selection procedure and admission
The NEET UG-2019 qualified candidates desirous to seek admission in BDS course in Mahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital, Jaipur shall be required to get themselves registered with the NEET UG Medical & Dental Counseling / Admission Board - 2019 constituted by the Govt. of Rajasthan for the academic year 2019-20. Admissions on all the seats including NRI / Management quota seats will be granted through a common counseling conducted by NEET UG Medical & Dental Counseling / Admission Board - 2019 on the basis of merit marks obtained by the candidates at NEET UG�2019. Admission Schedule shall be as per the notification issued in this regard by the DCI / Govt of India / Hon�ble High Court of Rajasthan / Supreme Court of India.
The Date of commencement of academic session is 1st August. In case, where the student has been admitted to the course after the commencement of classes through the waiting list or otherwise on or before the notified last date of admission, the period of training and duration of the course will be reckoned from the date of commencement of classes in August and not from the date of his actual admission.
Cancellation of Admission & Withdrawal from the course :
The admission of the student, who has paid the admission fee but fails to join the course at the institute within the time limit communicated, is liable to be cancelled, and the tuition fee paid will not be refunded.
In case, the Eligibility / Equivalent certificate is not produced by the candidate within the prescribed period, his / her selection for admission to the BDS course is liable to be cancelled.
The prescribed fee once paid shall not be refunded in any case. If, after admission, any student withdraws from or discontinues the course he / she shall have to pay the entire course fee. Only the Caution money (interest free refundable amount) after adjustments, if any, will be refunded.

a. NRI / Management Quota seats :
� Tuition Fee :
USD 8,000 (US Dollar Eight Thousand) or its equivalent amount in INR per annum at the time of admission.
In addition, the selected student has to deposit
i) Cash security/Bank guarantee of next two years of the course duration fee amounting to USD 16,000 (US Dollar Sixteen Thousand) or its equivalent amount in INR at the time of admission.
ii) Postdated cheque* for the remaining one academic year fee amounting to USD 8,000 (US Dollar Eight Thousand) or equivalent amount in INR in favour of Mahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital, Jaipur at the time of admission.
Tuition fee for Management Quota (Subject to approval by the Government of Rajasthan) shall be equivalent to the NRI quota fees, payable in Indian Currency at the prevalent US Dollar exchange rate.
Deposition of Cash Security / Bank Guarantee and Postdated Cheque shall be similar as for NRI Quota.
� Caution Money : USD 2200 (for NRI Quota) and Its equivalent amount payable in Indian Currency at prevalent USD exchange rate.
Interest free amount refundable on completion of the course.
b. State Quota seats (Payment seats) :
� Tuition Fee : Rs. 2,75,000/- (Rs. Two Lac Seventy Five Thousand) per annum. In addition, the selected student also has to deposit :
(i) Cash security / Bank guarantee for next two academic years of the course duration fee amounting to Rs. 5,50,000/- (Rupees Five Lac Fifty Thousand ) at the time of admission.
(ii) Post Dated Cheque* for the remaining 1 year fee amounting to Rs. 2,75,000/- (Rupees Two Lac Seventy Five Thousand) in favour of
Fee Structure for BDS CourseMahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital, Jaipur at the time of admission.
*To ease the immediate financial burden on the parent / guardian, partial amount as mentioned above has been allowed to be deposited through post dated cheque. In case the cheque is dishonoured then candidate will be debarred from classes and action will be taken as per University / Banking Rules.
� Caution Money : Rs. 1,50,000 (Rupees One Lac Fifty Thousand). Interest free Amount Refundable on completion of the course.
Note : Fee will be deposited through NEFT/RTGS/ Demand Draft in favour of Mahatma Gandhi Dental College & Hospital, payable at Jaipur.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel provides a cot, a study table, a chair and one almirah for each student. Each hostel has hot water facility, common TV room, common reading room, dining arrangements and in-door games facilities. There is adequate dining space for all students to dine at one time. Membership to the mess run in the hostel is compulsory.

� Mess Charges : Before commencement of the academic session, the Mess charges shall be collected annually on sharing basis.

� Hostel fee will be payable yearly with 1st installment at the time admission and there after annually on the dates notified preferably through RTGS/NEFT/ Demand Draft drawn in favor of Mahatma Gandhi Dental College & Hospital payable at Jaipur. In case a lower type of accommodation is allotted, the excess amount, if any, will be refunded / adjusted towards dues of the subsequent years.
University Enrolment
All the selected candidates admitted to the first BDS course at MGDCH, under any category, are required to apply to the Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur on a prescribed proforma with the required fee for registration as per rules and regulations of the MGUMST, Jaipur. The admitted students must apply for enrolment as per the notification of the MGUMST.
Migration
No application for migration to other Dental Colleges will be entertained from the students admitted to the BDS course at this Institute. The President may grant NOC for migration of a student in the exceptional circumstances subject of prevailing rules & regulations of the DCI. However, the final approval will be granted by Dental Council of India. No student shall be permitted to do internship from any other Dental College.
