Report Writing• When write your report, you must paid attention on

how your report is being marked and judged• Evaluation grade from BBA manual:

Code of references

• Three major ways:1. Coded as an implication

– MIS system has now serving as a platform to the effective implementation of supply chain management (Laudon and Laudon, 2005)

2. Coded as fact findings– Chow (2004) investigates the use of MIS in supply chain and identifies four

critical success factors to their applications

3. Coded as a statement– Zwass (1996) defines e-commerce as “is the sharing of business information,

maintaining business relationships, and conducting transactions by means of telecommunications networks, …… (it) includes the sell-buy relationships and transactions between companies, as well as the corporation process that support the commerce within individual firms”.

Important points

• Timing:– You have only 15 mins for presentation

• Use 1-2 mins for intro• Use 1-2 mins to tell about relevant literature• Use 2-3 mins to tell about model development & hypotheses• Use 2 mins to reveal your findings• Use 3 mins to discuss its implication• Use 1-2 mins to sum up your conclusion with limitations

• You don’t have to use all materials in your reports thus you need to choose your choices wisely

• Q/A: listen and understand the Qs before answering
