the f i rst chal lenge was to f ind a name that

ref lects the core miss ion without spending

mi l l ions in establ ishing publ ic awareness.

Instead of creat ing a f ict ion name, us ing

„Bavar ia“ as an integral part of the brand

was a smart th ing, i t not only transfers the

assets the wording carr ies, but a lso shows

already in the name what i t i s a l l about.

Bavar ia + aerospace = bavAIR ia

„Bavar ia“ has a high reputat ion worldwide, i s a brand i tse l f and

stands for high tech, the best cars in the world, great soccer and

high qual i ty work. Al l th is i s t ransferred by s imply integrat ing

„Bavar ia“ into the brand‘s name.

„AIR“ represents everything

in the a i r l ike aerospace and

satel l i te navigat ion.

CReAtIng A logo

having a name, the next step was to f ind an appropr iate

logo that embodies the miss ion of the brand.

A s ignet in form of a tr iangle was added to

symbol ize a top, because bavAIRia unif ies the

whole Bavar ian aerospace industry and research

under one roof. the logo was born.

the next chal lenge was to f ind a subl ine

that summerizes in one phrase the core

of bavAIRia.

Being the „heart“ does not only point out

that Bavar ia is geographical ly located r ight

in the middle of europe, but a lso te l l s i t i s

the dr iv ing motor combined with pass ion.
