Air Refrigeration systems 1- air is used as the Refrigerant in a mechanical compression system 2- Air remains in a gaseous state throught the cycle ( monophase cycles) 3- Most of the systems are open systems. Bootstrap Sytem 1- Air is discharged from the turbine at a pressure > cabin pressure 2- FAN : located in the downstream side to avoid additional temperature rise of the ram cooling air. 3- ACM : to provide addetional cooling capacity when the primary source of air does not have sufficient presure ( flow ) . this accomplished on the expense of drag in the cooling circuit .

Air Refrigeration systems

1- air is used as the Refrigerant in a mechanical compression system2- Air remains in a gaseous state throught the cycle ( monophase cycles)3- Most of the systems are open systems.

Bootstrap Sytem

1- Air is discharged from the turbine at a pressure > cabin pressure2- FAN : located in the downstream side to avoid additional temperature rise of the

ram cooling air.3- ACM : to provide addetional cooling capacity when the primary source of air

does not have sufficient presure ( flow ) . this accomplished on the expense of drag in the cooling circuit .
