Baroque Architectural Style   Features Of Baroque Architecture  Columns : Beams or structures that are vertical and support another structure. (the white posts in middle of house, used i this case to support the overhang of the roof, and for looks)   www.lib.virginia.edu/dic/colls/arh102/Intro/intro.html  Towers : This is a feature that is found on many churches, they are usually found on the to p of a building and they go up higher than the roof, they may be small rooms, or just open balconys to look out from.  (The 2 symmetrical towers int he front of the church, this is a very good example of the main use of towers)  www.nga.gov/exhibitions/2000/baroque/indepth3.htm  Domes : a roof, or part of a roof top, that has a circle shape and t he circle is visible because it stands out above the main roof, a roof could be one big dome itself. (The dome in this picture is clearly visible, there are many variations of domes, this one has a pointed tip design)  www.lib.virginia.edu/dic/colls/arh102/Intro/intro.html  Oval windows : windows that portray the shape of an egg, at either the top of the window, bottom o f the window, or both. (There are many oval shaped windows in this picture, these type of windows are the the windows that contain the oval shape on the top.)
