You have been selected from a strong pool of very talented applicants, among who are future business leaders, diplomats, artists, lawyers, academicians, and trailblazers in an impressive array of fields. Out of those we have chosen the most talented and accomplished individuals for our Fall 2013 Professional Internship Program. The dynamics and the diversity of this group is what make our Professional Internship Program so special. The BAFF Professional Internship is a unique opportunity for promising future leaders of the Baltic’s to gain practical professional experience in the most dynamic and innovative country in the world. Additionally, the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), the oldest established international educational exchange organization in the United States, will lend its support, expertise, and wide network of professional contacts in the private and public sectors to place successful BAFF applicants in relevant and challenging internships. We ask that you confirm acceptance and provide us with additional documentation in order to facilitate the successful processing of your placement. Please find enclosed an Acceptance Confirmation form. We ask you to fill it out, sign it and send it to the BAFF office in Riga by Friday, June 14, 2013. Should you accept the offered scholarship, you will be required to take part in a pre- departure orientation program in the month of September, and you will receive detailed placement and financial information as soon as the placement process will be over. We congratulate you on your accomplishments, and we are confident that, upon accepting the placement offer, you will serve as an exemplary ambassador of your country. Just as importantly, we are certain that upon your return to your home country from the United States, the professional experience gained in the United States will provide maximum benefit to you in your future career, as well as to Baltic States society at large.
