Parade College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
Part of the requirements of undertaking VET training is students must access a Unique Student Identifier Number (USI)

Once you have a USI keep it in a secure place as you will need it every time you enrol in any form of VET training not only at school but beyond
As a part of undertaking VET training, students will need to complete a VET enrolment form, including a USI and have it signed by student and parent/Guardian. These will be given out on our Orientation day to be returned on Day 1 of classes

Religious Education and ERPP
An important part of our program is giving students an opportunity to understand and experience service (Service Education) in the community (Community Service) as a part of Religious Educations
On Thursdays in late Term 3 and Term 4, students will undertake a community placement in an agency, community organisation, aged care facility, special school as part of our Religious Education program.
On this day, students will leave the College around lunchtime and make their own way to an allocated community agency. The agency given will aim to be a place that is on the way home for the student. They will be in attendance from around 1.30pm -3.00pm. Students in the past have forged close links with agencies and the adults or children in them. They will have an opportunity to commence and conclude a project for the agency. In previous years we have had herb gardens built, bird feeders built, outdoor furniture built and delivered, bingo or card games organised, support of sport to name some.
Term 1 All Year 10 boys undertake a ‘Respectful Relationships Program, called ‘Wise Guys’
Some further Expectations

Tuesday is allocated to wear the correct College sport uniform to school for Year 10s across the school. Some boys will participate in ACC sport on
that day. Those that have trade on Tuesdays will be advised of an
alternative day that they may wear College sport uniform to school
College Uniform

Conclusion
We are One School on Two Campuses with one set of rules
Our continuing expectations revolve around:
Respectful conduct/Respectful interactions- respect yourself, other
students and staff and the wonderful school you belong to
Importance of following reasonable directions when given- in class, on the yard, in the trade training centre. When on excursions and in the
workplace
An important part of what we do is to prepare students for the world that
waits for them- punctuality, responsible use of phones and social media,
following directions, respectful conduct, rights and responsibilities
