YOU ARE INVITED
Anita’s Embroidery Workshop
Attend this workshop and receive a gift packet with FREE designs to finish your project! Paper Piecing Blocks
Paper piecing gives a fun and unique twist to any de-sign. Using the folded fabric technique and an assort-ment of scrap fabrics, you will be able to create this stunning look on clothing or home décor.
At this Anita Embroidery Workshop you will participate in a hands on embroidery team sewing environment. You will be stitching out a confetti block and will also learn how to stitch out the paper pieced blocks.
Confetti Blocks The confetti blocks use a unique three-step applique technique that incorporates yarn, ribbon, thread, fabric or any other tex-ture you wish to trap under a layer of tulle. With these exclusive designs, saving your scraps has never been more useful. Use the assorted confetti to match the color of your flower and the end result is simply beautiful. This technique works great when mak-ing quilts or pillows.

Quilt-as-you-go / Cotton Theory Quilting
Cotton Theory Quilting is a new and different way to construct your quilt. It’s backward! Unlike traditional quilts, which are pieced together, layered with bat-ting, then quilted, Cotton Theory projects are quilted first, one segment at a time, and then assembled using Betty Cotton’s fold-and-finish procedures. Learn this valuable technique while constructing a table runner during her class. Heidi will bring samples to show what all can be done with this technique.
