Backyard Sports Grey/Dann

Come out and enjoy the sun while playing your favorite backyard sports. Games include bocce ball, washers, cornhole, frisbee, wiffle ball, and lacrosse (must bring own stick). More games may be added later.

Tim Burton, the filmmaker of movies such as: “The Nightmare before Christmas”, “Beetle Juice”, “Frankenweenie”, and “Edward Scissorhands” used to doodle in his sketchbook, when he was in high school. Experiment with colored jell pens, metallic markers, and ultra- fine drawing pens. This class is a fun time to explore your own ideas with cool drawing materials.

Geometric Origami Friesenhahn

This club is for those who have always wanted to try origami. We will fold animals and different cool designs, but also make 3-D geometric figures ( have you ever wanted to make a 24 sided figure? a dodecahedron?) This club will cover it all!

Mountain Bike Club

Whether you are an experienced rider or someone who is juststarting out…you will be bitten by the mountain biking bug, and there's noturning back and never enough rides. HBMS mountain bike club is comprised of riders with various skill levels and ages. You may have different fitnesslevels, but all share the common interest to ride a mountain bike. This is youropportunity to be around others who are passionate about mountain biking as asport to have fun. MTB club will offer help when needed so you can gain newskills and confidence on the trails and hopefully ride for Lake Travis HighSchool MTB team 2013 – 2014 State Champions. "No Rider Left Behind"This is the policy of the HBMS and Lake Travis High School Mountain Bike team,because we will ride as a team. The club is open to all…even if you do not knowhow to ride a bike.

Poetry slams are competitions in which poets read and recite original work. Judged by an audience of their peers, students will participate in poetry slams. In this competitive, accepting, and safe environment, students will be able to share and express their thoughts in the form of poetry.
