Who We Are
Sport Clubs StaffO SCC Exec Board: Elected Officers from the SCC
who mentor clubs, lead monthly council meetings
O Office Assistant: Works in office answering questions, tracking all submitted documents, checking rosters, tracking Safety Officers
O First Responders: CPR & First Aid certified students who are scheduled to work all home events
Registered Sport Clubs (RSC)
O Member of Sport Clubs Council (SCC)O Student-led, student-run (President,
VP and Treasurer)O Open to all FGCU studentsO Operate on a yearly budgetO Follow SCORE System O Have CPR & First Aid Certified Safety
Officers- according to risk level
SCORE SystemO System to recognize annual effort and work by teams O The levels determine a Sport Club’s funding for future fiscal years
and a team’s status as a RSC
O White –Base Level – 60 points (next year cap at $6,000)O Expected level to meet each year to maintain status
O Blue –Above Average – 100 points (next year cap at $10,000)O Mid-level for recognition for more visible clubs who go beyond
expected fundraising and community services
O Emerald –Outstanding – 150 points (next year no funding cap)O Highest level in recognition reserved for elite teams which achieve
excellent fundraising levels and are very active in the community
SCORE System Requirements
O Fundraising: Clubs must match 10% of their annual budget allocation through fundraising
O Community Service: Attend 1 service event
per year with a minimum of 25% of your roster
O SCC Meetings: Be represented at monthly council meetings
O Attending Events: Attend Sport Clubs events, SCC workshops and Campus Recreation events

responsibilityO Officer positions develop
transferable leadership skills O Held to a high standardO Know your resources
O Professional staff, mentors, sport clubs office
Your Role as an OfficerO Club Leadership
O 2.5 GPA, 9 credit hours (6 for grad students)
O Enforce SCC policies and rules for team O Adhere to ALL deadlinesO Turn in all required forms
O Player FormsO Practice Requests O Rosters O Travel Forms

O Must be filled out by every member of the club on the first practice or by 9/30. O Bring blank ones to practices/tryouts
O Must be turned in to the Sport Clubs Office.O Players are not permitted to practice/travel
if forms not on file.

O Due one week prior to trip via EagleLinkO If submitted less than a week before: only
eligible for reimbursementsO Late Form: reimbursements are not permittedO Missing Form: purchases will be canceled
(hotel, car rental, etc.) and reimbursements are not permitted
