Douglas Kelly and son, Draiald, have been invited by the Inter- national Harvester company to be guests at a company conclave Sept. 21 in Boston because of their splendid record of equipment sales. They will be treated to a deep-sea Ashing trip and a major league baseball game. Miss Edith Faulkner of Los Angeles, Calif., spent last Wed- nesday with her cousins, Willard and Eliza Sanford. On Monday Maud Mayhan and Miss Sanford drove Miss Faulkner to Kings- ton. Miss Faulkner was bom in Fleischmanns. She is an attorney in Los Angeles. S/Sgt. John H. Goupil and Mrs. Goupil returned Wednesday after a three-week vacation in Florida. Their children, Joanne and Jay, spent the time with their grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Goupil of Dry Brook. S/Sgt. and Mrs. Goupil will spend the remainder of their vacation with his parents. He is stationed at New Castle Air Force base. New Castle, Del., where he will return Aug. 19. The Margaretville Red Cross society will hold its quarterly meeting at the home of Mrs. Thomas Matalavage Thiusday, Aug. 23, at 2 p. m. This will be a sewing and mending meeting in preparation for the annual rum- mage sale which will be held at the Margaretville central school later in the month. AU members are asked to bring their own needles and thread. Refreshments will be served. Ernest Polley of Haverstraw, who, for the past four years has been with the Roddand county Public Health department, has taken a position with the Mary bnogene Bassett hospital in Coop- erstown to begin on Sept 1. His work will indude teaching and giving physical therapy. living quarters have already been found and the family will move there. Mr. Polley is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Polley. Miss Edith Faulkner of Los Angeles, Calif., spent last Wed­nesday with her cousins, Willard and Eliza Sanford. On Monday Maud Mayhan and Miss Sanford drove Miss Faulkner to Kings­ton. Miss Faulkner was bom in Fleischmanns. She is an attorney in Los Angeles.

S/Sgt. John H. Goupil and Mrs. Goupil returned Wednesday after a three-week vacation in Florida. Their children, Joanne and Jay, spent the time with their grand­parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Goupil of Dry Brook. S/Sgt. and Mrs. Goupil will spend the remainder of their vacation with his parents. He is stationed a t New Castle Air Force base. New Castle, Del., where he will return Aug. 19.

The Margaretville Red Cross society will hold its quarterly meeting a t the home of Mrs. Thomas Matalavage Thiusday, Aug. 23, a t 2 p. m. This will be a sewing and mending meeting in preparation for the annual rum­mage sale which will be held a t the Margaretville central school la ter in the month. AU members are asked to bring their own needles and thread. Refreshments will be served.

Ernest Polley of Haverstraw, who, for the past four years has been with the Roddand county Public Health department, has taken a position with the Mary bnogene Bassett hospital in Coop- erstown to begin on S ep t 1. His work will indude teaching and giving physical therapy. liv ing quarters have already been found and the family will move there. Mr. Polley is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Polley.

Proceeds from the bazaar held Aug. 7 to benefit the WSCS were $238. The barbecue held that eve­ning to benefit the Methodist church totaled $200.
