• FIRST TIME ATTENDING AND VERY IMPRESSED!• The conference was very well put together this year.• I was disappointed when the Conference was moved from Glendale but this year's
conference was the most enjoyable that I have ever attended. I don't know what changed, maybe it just took a couple years to mature into the new location.
• I would have liked to have the vendors on Thursday also. Crowd seemed smaller• Scanning in and out of classes is chaotic.• the food was not that great, but this is not important.• I thought the time allotted to the presentations was not long enough for the attendees to
really learn well on the topics discussed.• Xx

How satisfied are you with the scheduling of the 2019 AZ Water Conference in April instead of May?
Very satisfied
Somewhat satisfied
• General AttendeeSurvey!
• April is typically cooler than May• It is better to let my employees go to the seminar in the hotter months to give them a
break from the elements. I need to capitalize on the work load during the nice weather every chance I get.
• Please don’t have it the same week as the roads and streets.• Allows students to attend and a little more moderate weather• Water business for operators and especially meter staff gets busier as it gets hotter. Keep in
mid-April• May is always so HOT.• Does not conflict with end of school year and graduation dates.

How satisfied are you with the scheduling of the 2019 AZ Water Conference on Tuesday through Thursday instead of
Wednesday through Friday?
• General AttendeeSurvey!
• Perfect! Monday was a travel/work day and Thursday traveled back (long day), but i had Friday off!
• I think people stayed around more for the entire event• Much better. Thurs PM still less folks but not as dead. Consider calling it at 3 pm not 5• I was able to still have a work day to catch up on things that I missed because of attending
the conference.• I would prefer it Wednesday through Friday, then we wouldn't have to burn a day of
vacation if we wanted a long weekend...ha ha ha.• Doesn't really matter but liked that Thursday was a full schedule while Friday this doesn't
seem as relevant.• keep this please• Not sure it matters....
• General AttendeeSurvey!
What changes would you like to see to the conference in 2020? (optional)
164 Response(s)
• better food (first 5 comments)• Offer a track for soft skills: leadership, management and other professional development
topics.• Go back to Glendale• Please have coffee available all day! I think there are significantly more coffee drinkers than
soda drinkers from the comments I heard. • I would like to see more hands on training• Shorter lines for BBQ, band not so loud at BBQ.• Expand competitions even more. very exciting and worthwhile

• General AttendeeSurvey!
• I would select "very good" if that were a choice. Mostly really good with a few clunkers mixed in
• the topics this year were not as good as in the past. But that is a hit or miss each year I imagine in selecting.
• There appeared to be way more companies doing a sales pitch in the sessions (at least the ones I attended) instead of information sharing.
• Some people cram an hour session into a 1/2 hour time allotment and "skim" through the class. Some people didn't have enough to properly fill the 1/2 hour. Some were timed just right. Perhaps some classes could/should be an hour long?
• Some sessions in the water treatment track were standing room only. Not sure how to resolve that issue though.

• only was in attendance Thursday• Provide additional opportunities for pdh at specific booth presentations• It would be nice if they stayed until noon on Thursday or last day. Maybe they could open
at 9:00 am the first two days so the days aren't so long.• Happy that "happy hour" was brought back• I would like to see more products and hands on exhibits by the manufacturers.• would be nice to have carpet throughout instead of concrete!
