The items were gratefully received by Katrina Elliss, and recorded by the Advocate. Picture & details from paper next Newsletter. *Code 404, Concession. Licenses: The changes that have occurred were advised in the CMC Minutes of April. Basically that the Current holders of Conc. Lic. vehicles are no longer required to attend an annual inspection. However the owner of a vehicle on code 404 is solely responsible for adhering to the conditions of the concessional license. The same initial procedures/conditions of Code 404 still apply before any vehicle can go on Concessional License. The excerpt from the CMC Minutes were published in our May Newsletter. It has been noted that some of the other Clubs, including the VCC, VAA Clubs are still prepared to hold their Inspections each year. This then prompted a discussion on how/why/should/when and if such a Day could still be held for Members who wish to still avail themselves of this type of support and service from the Club. There being no further business the meeting closed at 9:25pm

The Wundowie Progress Association hold the Wundowie Iron Festival each year to commemorate andshowcase the history of their area and to support Community projects. Painting, Sculpture, Photography and Metalwork are among the exhibits in the Community Hall. Then there are the ‘Iron Beasts’, mobility on at least 4 wheels & no bigger than 600mm wide/long/high. They get to start ‘rolling their wheels’ on a track outside the Footy Club rooms.

On the Oval itself there was a lot going on.

Rolling inside Ballsis that fun?

Behind this active group were all kinds of Food Stalls, the Inner Man was well looked after.

Meanwhile, this vintage group below casually sat & watched it all happen. Most rewarding was the amount of People of all ages who came across to look at the cars from every angle,

and so many more than usual stopped to converse.to converse.

Ray Crocker has a neighbour with two metal badges, don’t know what from. They are in the shape of a V with the letters V and M on the upper sections and a circle with 38 in it in the centre. The other badge is the same but with the number 45 instead. On the reverse of both is “Property of the CVM” If anyone knows what these are or is interested in them please call Ray on 9298-8165.
