Wayne Bogart, President TMW & Associates, Inc. Lead Agency: Town of Colma Project Location: 755 Serramonte Boulevard, Colma, CA 94014 Overview The project sponsor proposes to demolish the rear portions (approximately two-thirds, or 22,348 square feet) of the existing retail building (former Babies R Us) and construct an extension to the building, using the front of the existing building as the rear of the proposed building and use the site as a Cadillac dealership. The new front of the building would house the sales floor with a footprint of approximately 15,557 sq. ft. The mid-section of the building (1,612 sq. ft.) will be a covered service driveway which will also be new construction. The rear portion of the building, which forms the front of the existing building will form the service area of the dealership. A detached car wash is proposed at the back of site. The area of the service area and car wash is approximately 17,216 sq. ft. The site would contain 241 parking spaces for both visitors to the dealership as well as cars for sale. Remaining site area would be used for car inventory, customer and employee parking, landscaping and stormwater treatment. The Town has determined that aspects of the project could result in environmental impacts, but that those impacts can be mitigated through the adoption of mitigation measures. Public Comment on the Environmental Review Document CEQA Guidelines Section 15073(a) directs each Lead Agency to provide a public review period of at least (30) days. The public review period will extend from June 10, 2020 to Monday, July 13, 2020. Your views and comments on the Mitigated Negative Declaration are welcomed. Notice of City Council Hearing

The Town of Colma City Council will hold a public hearing to review the project. Additional details on the hearing will be provided at least 10 days prior to the hearing. Please contact the Planning Department to request notification of the City Council hearing.
