Background & Aim Mining industry is pivotal to the Australian economy and important to many countries around the world. The aim of “Automa on in Mining Engineering” event is to provide a forum for presenta on and discussion of emerging developments and applica ons in the rapidly evolving field. Also, it serves as a conduit for channeling advanced research and best industry prac ce to mining industry. It brings to-gether researchers, from industry and academia, ac ve in automa on field together with industry prac oners to discuss current developments and future prospec ve.

Industry Forums In addition to the scientific refereed paper presentations, there will be also several “Industry Forums” with invited prominent speakers from industry. The industry forums will include case study presentations and panel discussions for lessons learned in automation of mining industry.

Conference Topics The topics of this conference will include, but are not limited to:

Special Sessions The conference will include Special Sessions on highly specialised topic areas, within the scope of the conference and its theme. Special Sessions are organised at the initiative of one or more individuals, who must adhere to the specific procedures published at the conference website.
