Scale Calibration

The RAM 200-F weighing scale may require calibration periodically.

Calibration of the scale is performed using the operator panel on the front of the dispenser.

The procedure was designed to be performed by the store staff as well as service technicians

Scale Calibration (continued)

Open the cabinet door and remove the hopper from the dispenser

Insure that accumulator housing remains on the doors Press menu button until “user menu” is displayed Use arrow buttons until “calibrate” is displayed, then press

“OK” Place an empty basket in the dispense position under the

accumulator doors Slide basket over the basket sensor – doors will open and

Scale Calibration continued.

When the display reads “1.0” or 450g, place a 1 lb (450 g) weight on the accumulator doors

– 4 x “quarter pounder” patties can be used for reference weights When the display reads “2.0” (900g), place an additional 1lb

(450 g) weight on the accumulator doors When scale stabilizes, the display reads “remove weights” –

remove as instructed

Reinstall the hopper and select a basket size button.

When to Calibrate

During semi-annual PM Check If basket weights appear inconsistent If values (temp, weight) accidentally are changed

from metric to US As part of some error code corrective action When major components are changed by

technicians

Keys to Top Performance

Load fries directly from freezer Insure dispenser has been turned on 90 minutes

prior to loading fries Do not stage filled baskets on basket racks – fry

directly after filling Turn off dispenser – allow to defrost and clean/dry

once per day
