1.0 Overview

This document describes the content and new of this Country Kit.

1.3 Standards used to create this Country Kit

This Country Kits is based on the following standards:

The Country Kit is installed using the appropriate msi-file.

2.0 Country Kit Content

2.1 Drawing template

The Country Kit contains a template file with settings for the local market:

_Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 SWE.dwt

Generally, styles named Standard should only be used if no other style of that type exist. If only

a style named Standard exist for a certain type, this style should however be used.

2.2 Layer Standard

The layer standard follows a Civil 3D “clear text” standard according to the image below.

2.3 Pipe Catalog and Parts Lists

Pipe Catalog and corresponding parts lists are available at the locations below. User needs to

use command Set Pipe Network Catalog to set correct local catalog!

2.4 Pay Item File

There is a localized Pay Item File located at the folder as

These Pay Item IDs are setup in some Pipe Network Parts Lists and some Code Set Styles

according to the second and third image below.

2.6 Infraworks Exchange Settings

There is a localized Exchange Settings Configuration File, for command

CONFIGUREAIWIMPORT, at location below.

Also note that settings in some Code Set Styles are setup for Infraworks communication.

Link Code Styles are coded with correct link style and render material for import to InfraWorks.

In InfraWorks, import using Style Rule "All.Rules.Json".

2.7 Superelevation Design Criteria File

There is a new localized Superelevation Design Criteria File and the old version is also still

available.

2.8 Roundabout Design Criteria File

There are two different localized Roundabout Design Criteria Files available. One for the “old”

command CREATEROUNDABOUT, see image 3 and 4 below, and one for the “new” AVT-

command RoundaboutCreate, see image 1 and 2 below.

There is a localized assembly set located as in the image below. The assembly names are

translated but uses standard Civil 3D Stock Subassemblies.

4.0 Country Kit Change List

4.1 Template Updates

◼ The following is a list of changes that have been made to the 2020 Template

◼ There is a new label style for crossings in profile view. In the Settings tab of the

prospector, switch to Master View. Under the Autodesk Metric template, open Profile

View>Label Styles>Crossing.

◼ There is a setting change in the Alignment Feature Settings, in the Settings tab right-

click on Alignment and choose Edit Feature Settings.... Expand Rail Alignment

Options and change both "Measure rail curves along chords" and "Export rail

alignment as center line alignment" to "Yes".

◼ There is a setting change in the Platform Edge Options, in the Settings tab open

Rail>Commands. Double-click on CreatePlatformEdge to open the "Edit Command

Settings - CreatePlatformEdge". Under "Platform Edge Options" change the "Use

Platform Length" to "No". Also, Track Width has been set to 1.435m.

◼ General>Multipurpose Styles>Projection Styles: Two new styles have been added.

◼ General>Multipurpose Styles>Code Set Styles: Some styles where modified

◼ Profile View>Band Styles>Superelevation>Tvärfall was modified and the Band Set

Vägverk also.

4.2 Superelevation Design Criteria File – VGU 2015

◼ There is a new Superelevation Design Criteria File, __Svensk regelbaserad

vägkonstruktion VGU2015_SWE.xml

◼ Superelevation Attainment Methods have been limited to only two, with or without

Spiral/Clothoid.

◼ VGU. Dubbelsidigt tvärfall. Raklinje-Klotoid-Cirkelbåge

◼ VGU. Dubbelsidigt tvärfall. Raklinje-Cirkelbåge

◼ Transition Length Tables:

◼ Rotationbredd <= 4,5m

◼ Rotationbredd 6,5m

◼ Rotationbredd 7m

4.3 New subassembly

◼ There is a new subassembly ShoulderExtendAllBySubbaseSlope_SWE

◼ Extends all layers by SubbaseSlope or Superelevation. Only Top layer follows

ShoulderSlope but without Superelevation!
