It is with my greatest pleasure that I welcome each and everymember of the country to AutCo 2015.

My earliest memory of my first conference was arriving at thevenue in Waikato for AutCo 2012 and being thrust into a roomfull of 100 delegates line dancing to Tunak Tunak. I had no ideaof the concept behind line dancing or why so many people inone room were torrentially gushing with enthusiasm andpassion at 9 o’clock in the morning. As I came to realise acrossthe next 5 days (and each subsequent conference) AIESECersare fuelled by an insatiable desire to do more and be more - andthat underlying passion is both magnetic and infectious.

Conference is the perfect environment to provide everyone withthe opportunity to share their experiences, their failures, theirsuccesses, their plans, their ideas, their visions, their deepestinsights and more. It fosters openness, but also that daringnature that makes us AIESECers. And in amongst all theplanning, reflection and sessions, it cultivates new networks ofconnections, and friendships across the country. Conferenceembodies what we believe here in AIESEC about enjoying whatwe do, creating new leaders, challenging the status quo,understanding others and creating a sustainable change for thefuture. After all, a society without diversity is a stagnant one –and we are better than stagnation!

With the last lap of GEN 2015 ahead, AutCo 2015 will beinsanely important to motivate ourselves for that final sprint overthe line. It aims to inspire, to motivate, to challenge, to build, butmost of all to provide every hard-working AIESECer in thecountry with the chance to let loose and have fun!

So it is with a warm heart and open arms that I, on behalf ofOCNZ15, invite you all to join us for the conference that aims toensure each and every delegate has the greatest, liveliest andmost spectacular time imaginable! We can’t wait to see you!
