The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania (RYCT) is proud of its achievements over almost 135 years of service to yachting and the community. In that time the RYCT has grown from a club established to support the needs of a group of dedicated sailors running yacht races on the River Derwent through to today, now servicing thousands of sailors and jointly managing, with the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, one of the world’s greatest blue water classics the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.

But it’s not all about racing, with regular cruising and social events, junior sailing programs, a wide range of training and education opportunities, plus excellent function facilities and a delicious Bistro menu.

FAQQ. Can I purchase food and drink during the regatta?Full catering will be available from the Club during the regatta. Egg and bacon rolls will be available each morning. After race catering will be available every day after racing.

The Club’s bistro and licensed bar will be open across the regatta for drinks, coffee, lunch, dinner and light snacks.

Q. Is there storage for trailer or containerTrailer storage is on site. Please see the map on page two of this program.

Q. Where do I park my car?Off-street car parking is available in the club car park. Additional on-street parking is available in surrounding streets. Please consider local residents by driving slowly when entering and leaving the regatta site and do not block private driveways in nearby streets.

Q. Where can I purchase fuel?RYCT has a fuel dock that supplies unleaded petrol and diesel. The card-operated system is available 24/7. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
