DIY Sponge Water Balls

Sponge balls are a fun alternative to water balloons. They are reusable, and

use less water than water balloons!

Supplies Needed per Sponge Water Bomb:

3 Kitchen Sponges in Various Colors

String (a very thin twine works best)

Scissors

Ruler

Use your ruler to mark off and cut each sponge into 1 inch strips.

Stack strips three high and three wide. Be sure to mix different colors!

Wrap string around the middle of your stack, and tie a very tight double knot.

Shift your pieces around to they look like a pom-pom

Snip off the ends of your string, and they are ready for water play!
