2015,legislationwasintroducedtoredirectallfederaltaxpayerdollars
currentlyspentatPlannedParenthoodtothousandsofcentersacrossthe
countrythatprovidewomenshealthservices.Underthislegislation,federal
taxpayerdollarsthatcouldbespentatfourPlannedParenthoodcentersin
Tennesseewouldbespentinsteadat173Tennesseecommunityhealth
centersthatprovideservicesforwomenshealth,suchasprenatalcareand
mammograms. These dollars could also be spent for womens health
services offered at state, county and local health departments.
