INDEPENDENCE DAY

ATTENDANCEStudents are expected to attend school regularly. When this is not possible, please telephone the school or send a note by 9:30 am on the day your child is absent explaining why he/she is not in school.

SCHOOL DAYFor children in kindergarten through sixth grade, school begins at 9:00 am and ends at 3:40 pm For Kankakee Junior High and High School students, school begins a t 7 :40 am and ends at 2:50 pm.

BOARD OF EDUCATION

The Board of Education meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm (Check calendar for the location as it changes for each meeting.) The board meetings are open to the public and time is set aside at each meeting for public comments.
