BWPS Weekly Newsletter What’s On @ BWPS? Ready, Set, Go Ready, Set, Go is a school readiness program that promotes socialisation, motor co-ordination, concentration, language skills and independence in a safe and nurturing environment on Friday mornings from 9-11am. Ready, Set, Go will begin in term one next year and is open to children going to our school in 2020. Term 1 will start in week three (15 th February) and targets parents bringing their children and staying with them in sessions. The structure of the program changes in Terms 2-4 where the children attend independently. Children will need to be enrolled in our school to access the program. Enrolments will be taken from week two of 2019 through the Office. 2019 For the first week of next year we will be in this year’s classes as we confirm our numbers before new classes are formed. Holidays It has been a very successful year for Bankstown West as we have gone from strength to strength. May I thank you all, parents, staff and children alike, as we continue to pursue the school vision of Respect, Monday, 17th december Please return GotGame notes this week. Wednesday, 30th and Thursday, 31st January- Kinder enrol Friday, 15th February- Ready, Set, Go starts Believe and Succeed through the school goals of Respect, Responsibility and Successful learning. Congratulations on the successes of the year, and may everyone enjoy a safe and happy holiday. To those celebrating Christmas, may it be a joyful family time to reflect on all we have, all we give and share, and all we should be thankful for.
