NYSED has confirmed that SIRS-320 Staff Snapshot

and SIRS-322 Staff Tenure verification reports will

not need to be certified on the end of year

certification form.

In addition, Staff Assignment will need to be certified

for principals only.

We are encouraging districts to load all Staff

Snapshot, Staff Tenure and Staff Assignment data in

anticipation of the Fall 2015 ePMF BEDS collection.

Staff Collection Changes

Teachers and Principals (green BEDS forms)

Continue to enter their BEDS information on TAA

Same procedure as last year

Non-teaching staff (pink BEDS forms)

SED will not be distributing pink bubble forms

These staff will have to be entered into:

Staff Snapshot (all need a Teach ID)

Staff Assignment (new ePMF assignment codes)

This data will most likely be refreshed on an L2RPT report which will

need to be verified. Non-teaching staff will NOT use TAA.

Anticipated Staff Collections

for Fall 2015

Any day now…

NYSED will typically give districts 48 hours notice

(confidential and embargoed) to view scores in-

house prior to the public news release.

“Sometime” after that, the ISR Parent Score Reports

get populated. Parent Score reports are usually not

available right after the score release.

The Parent Score Reports take some time to create,

and are double checked and triple checked for

accuracy.

Grades 3-8 ELA and Math

Test Score Release

The news release will include “matched students”.

These are students who took assessments this year

and last year.

This year, SED is looking to do a 3-year match

(students who took assessments in 2013, 2014,

and 2015).

Data on the NYS Report Card does NOT show

“matched students”. The Report Card displays only

those students took an assessment this year.

Reminders

The State Aid office is being proactive in order

to help districts prevent any unwelcome

‘surprises’ to their State Aid allocations based

on EOY data (FRPL data).

They have provided the 8/7 target date for

revisions so that data can flow to the L2RPT

reports and enable districts to confirm their

last minute revisions to 14-15 data. Once we

reach 8/27, the time for revisions will be past.

This count will freeze but affect next years’ AYP

This report displays scores on Regents exams

(performance). In the past, we have found discrepancies

between the scanned score and a manually entered

score.

Your HS ELA and Math AYP is dependent on the scores

that are reflected in this report.

HS AYP Performance Reminders

Districts should download and save their

2013-14 APPR growth scores from last year.

NYSED will be removing them from the IRS

Portal as of August 21.
