asked ended up being aged 15-30 which is what I had hoped, as I wi l l be aiming my film production at th is age group.

at least half of them watched 4-5 films with in just two months.

By taking out th is questionnaire I was able to spot what the most favoured genre was, from my p ie resu lts you

can see that thri l ler is the most preferred genre, however romance and comedy are a lso h ighly rated.

Th is has enabled me to p ick a genre my film introduction wi l l be based on.

What do you expect from your preferred genre?

This question left the people I asked a lot of th inking to do, and referr ing to my previous question, ‘what 's your preferred genre? ’

and relating to ‘ ’ thr i l ler ’ ’ a lot of the people that answered my questionnaire said they usual ly expect from a thr i l ler th ings l ike

“real ism – ie . they expect the fi lm to seem real and the events taking p lace real ly br ing the audience in .’ ’ “Dul l colours and scenes

of dark p laces usual ly an abandoned house or a haunted school something l ike that ”. . “ I want to be on the edge of my seat

worry ing , I expect suspense and tension to make a good thr i l ler, i t ’s a l l about being scared and excited at the same time” these were just a few of the th ings people said. My results enabled me to see a lot of d ifferent peoples v iews on thr i l ler which relates to and wi l l help

me when planning my chosen genre thr i l ler for are opening sequence.

would choose. Johnny Depp had many votes as wel l as Keira Knight ly, these are two very talented Actors/ Actresses so I was not

surpr ised when their names continuously came up. Many people said they did not mind who was in the fi lm just as long as they
