The Atlanta Center for Int’l Arb & Mediation: Concept In Brief

Vision –

• To make Atlanta a preferred venue for the resolution of international disputes and an international thought leader in dispute resolution

Stakeholders

• Atlanta International Arbitration Society (AtlAS), law faculties, the Consortium on Negotiation & Conflict Management and the business community including the Metro Atlanta Chamber

The physical set up –

• Space in the GSU Law Building overlooking Woodruff Park for anywhere from six to 200 persons.

• Breakout rooms and office space for visitors

• State of the art technology

• Access to the college’s world class law library.

• A “concierge” service arranging for lodging, transportation, transcription, translation and IT and clerical support

Scholarship –

• Drafting statutes and rules

• Convening major conferences offered through AtlAS and support of LLM, Vis Moot and clinical programs
