The April Meeting Minutes Badgerland F-100's Truck Club Minutes of the April meeting were taken by Wally Zeien April 21st, 2012. The April meeting was held at the home of Dean & Jo Malin in Walworth, WI. We had 13 adult members and 4.75 trucks in attendance. The food was real good and Dean really is working on his panel. Thanks Dean & Jo for hosting. Reports from Officers Treasurer/Membership; Chris Connor reported the balance of the club checkbook and noted that we have begun paying for things pertaining to Dash 23. Chris also stated we have no new members this month. Vice President; Rick Pribbenow had nothing to say at this time. President; Mike Connor gave a warm welcome to Chuck & Marlene Rogers who are visiting our club today to decide whether or not to become members. Mike then asked for any old business to be discussed. Old Business; The club recognized Rick Pribbenow in his new position as Vice-President and would like to thank Dave Farmer for his many years served. Dash 23: With the absence of Julie Farmer, we did not have an update on registration for the Dash. Dean Malin volunteered to be one of the shuttle drivers for the show. So far we have the following volunteers; Wally Zeien, Trophies Dave Farmer, T-shirts Megan Blanchard, Kids and Adult games Julie Farmer, Registration Trevor Rush, Promotions Mike Connor, Latrine Retriever Mike & Chris Connor, Door Prize Chairs Dean Malin, Shuttle Driver Wally Zeien, V.C. Derby ramp set-up & tear down Wally Zeien, Assist in setting up decorations Friday night Please volunteer some time to help our show go smoothly. Many hands make for light work. Contact an officer to volunteer. Anyone that has pictures of past Dash's and you are willing to part with them for a short while, contact Wally. We are trying to put together poster boards featuring special photos from each year. Wally will scan them and reproduce them, then return yours.

The April Meeting Minutes…continued New Business; Members presented Dean Malin with his "funnel" gifts that he missed out on getting at the winter banquet. Dean Malin presented the Club with an opportunity to create a scholarship in the name of the Badgerland F-100 Truck Club to benefit a student interested in attending an automotive related field. This issue was tabled per further discussion to consider criteria to qualify for such a scholarship. Our next meeting will be at the Boondockers Car Show in Concord WI, on Saturday May 12th at 1pm. We are still looking for locations to have the June and July meetings. Anyone interested, please contact an officer to check availability. A motion made by Dean Malin to adjourn the meeting, 2nd by Deanna Malin. All were in favor, meeting adjourned at 2:50pm. **Some of us then went to the 5th Anniversary Party for the HotRod Radio Show in Caledonia where we met Stacey David of the “Gears” TV show.

The May Meeting Minutes Badgerland F-100'S Truck Club Minutes of the May meeting were taken by Paul Zeien, May 12th, 2012. Meeting was called to order at 1:00pm on May 12th, at the Boondockers Car Show in Concord, WI. We had 6 trucks, 2 kids and 14 adults and one via phone (that would be Greg Masters) in attendance. Reports from Officers Secretary: Wally read the minutes of the April meeting. Treasurer/Membership: On behalf of Chris Connor, Mike reported the club checkbook balance and reported we have one new membership, Charles and Marlene Rogers. Welcome! Vice President: Rick Pribbenow reported on upcoming shows. Look to the club calendar in this newsletter for dates and times. President: Mike asked for any old business. Old Business: Dash 23: Registrations - Julie Farmer said we have approximately 30 so far for Dash 23. T-shirts - Dave Farmer presented (verbally) his idea for artwork on the front and back of the show shirts. Dave also reported that Floyd Johnson had found sweatshirts for the club at another show and that Dave himself came across a number of hats also. Trophies - Wally Zeien said at the time he had no updates on trophy ideas, the list was passed and we now have the following; Kid's Choice Lowest Ride Fine Lines Club Participation Flatheads Forever Proud ?????? The May Meeting Minutes…continued Door Prizes - Mike reported that we have some door prizes starting to trickle in, if you need a beg letter for door prizes, see a copy in this newsletter. We need everyone to try and get door prizes. They do not have to be automotive related, everything helps. Promotions - Trevor Rush has begun working on promoting the show. New Business: Chris Connor will be following up on the subject of giving a scholarship. She has had a lengthy conversation with someone in the know and will need to be at a meeting to share that info. Seems it is a very in-depth procedure to do so. We currently do not have a location for the June meeting. When we get more info, it will be provided ASAP. A motion was made by Dave Farmer to adjourn, seconded by Chuck Blanchard. All were in favor. Meeting adjourned at 1:20pm. Rick Pribbenow brought to our attention that the Show-Me F-100’s were looking for trophy sponsorship. It costs $35.00 per trophy and he asked if the club would be interested in sponsoring a trophy. A motion was made by Dave Farmer to re-open business, seconded by Rich Linskens to discuss Badgerland’s participation in sponsoring a trophy at the Show-Me F-100's show in July. A motion was made by Wally Zeien, seconded by Rich Linskens to sponsor a trophy. After discussion, a motion was made by Dave Farmer, seconded by Wally Zeien to sponsor 2 trophies at the Show Me F-100's show. All were in favor, passed. A motion was made by Rita Johnson, seconded by Megan Blanchard to adjourn the meeting. All were in favor. Meeting adjourned at 1:30pm.

The Next Meeting There will be no June meeting, so the next meeting will be in July. One of the Illinois Badgerlanders will most likely be hosting. We will update you as soon as we have a definite date. Watch for the date in the June issue of the newsletter out before the end of June.
