Since 1958 The Astrological Association has been serving astrology by informing and bringing together astrologers from all over the world. It is now one of Europe’s leading astrological organizations and its conferences and publications are world-renowned in the astrological community.

The Astrological Association is considered to be the umbrella body for astrology in the UK, providing a central resource for astrologers, the public, and the schools and organizations which form the UK’s thriving astrological scene.

The Astrological Journal is the Association’s fl agship publication. It is published six times a year, in January, March, July, September and November. It is sent out to all

members of the Association, and is also available to non-members via specialist astrological shops and outlets.

This isn’t a magazine that people read and throw away – articles in the Journal are frequently quoted in academic papers and other astrology publications, and most subscribers keep their copies permanently.

In addition, many local astrology groups have copies of the Journal in their libraries for their own members to read, so the actual readership of the Journal is far higher than the membership.

1. CONTENT Your advertisement must be appropriate to the astrological nature of The Journal. The AA and its Journal Editor reserve the right to refuse any advertisement if its content is not considered suitable.

2. RATES & COSTS The rates quoted in this document are valid for all bookings made from 1 January 2021. All prices are quoted in sterling and exclusive of VAT. If you pay for a single advertisement, you will be charged at the rates quoted in this document. A discount of 12.5% applies for a series of 2-5 issues; a discount of 15% applies for a series of six issues.

3. PAYMENT For one to fi ve issues, payment must be made in full when the order is placed; payment may be made by cheque, credit card or online. For six inserts or more, a standing order or credit card mandate may be set up so payment is then taken on a bi-monthly basis automatically. Payment must be made in sterling and include VAT at the rate current when the advertisement is booked.

4. ORDERS must be placed with our administrator at the email address printed in this document. We do not guarantee to accept an advertisement for your requested issue/s if space is not available at the time of booking. If space is not available, you will be informed of this as soon as possible.

5. COPY ARTWORK Artwork must be supplied to us by the ad deadline dates listed above. If copy is not supplied by the dates as listed here, the Astrological Association will make all reasonable attempts to fi nd space in a future issue but reserves the right to refuse publication. If publication is refused, any advertising fee paid will be refunded but may be subject to an administrative fee.

6. GENERAL If a fi nal PDF fi le is not supplied to the specifi cations listed, no responsibility will be accepted by The Astrological Journal for the fi nal printed result. If a fi le cannot be printed because of errors in the fi le and it is rejected, a new fi le must be supplied by the advertiser before the publication deadline. It will not be deemed a breach of contract by The Astrological Journal or its printers if the fi le is not printed because of these specifi cations not being met.
