ASSIGNMENT -2 Strategy to increase customer retention Medicines at door step is indeed an innovative idea. But it is surely lacking in the field of advertisement. I too order things from varies ecommerce sites like flipkart,amazon etc but didn’t knew that there is also a site from which I can order medicines as well. Getting sick is inevitable in present scenario and everyone has a mini first aid kit in their house also everybody carry medicines while travelling. Getting these medicines at cheaper rate is a good deal for everyone! So, here are some strategies to increase customer retention:- 1) Fast Delivery- Everyone orders medicine at eleventh hour so delivery should be as fast as possible. 2) Cash on delivery option is a must. 3) Offer Discounts- Undoubtedly discounts attract customers. 4) Advertisements- Do ample of advertisements(TV, newspapers, pamphlets etc) so that everyone should know “meramedicare” do exist in the market. 5) Offer free and easy returns 6) Right packaging and a continuous check on the expiry dates of the medicines.

So, here are some strategies to increase customer retention:-

1) Fast Delivery- Everyone orders medicine at eleventh hour so delivery should be as fast as possible.

2) Cash on delivery option is a must.

3) Offer Discounts- Undoubtedly discounts attract customers.

4) Advertisements- Do ample of advertisements(TV, newspapers, pamphlets etc) so that everyone should know “meramedicare” do exist in the market.

5) Offer free and easy returns

6) Right packaging and a continuous check on the expiry dates of the medicines.

7) Rewards for more valuable customers.

8) Reminder emails and marketing through emails.

9) Answer customer calls and try to solve each and every queries of customer.

10) Hassle free registration process.

11)And the last one I don’t know if mera-medicare has an android app or not but android apps are in. There are few apps like “Mcent,free paisa etc”(which is an app for free recharge) these apps attracts people a lot,you can post your advertisement in these apps also. This will surely increase the awareness.
