Dance is a powerful weapon nown to only a few! Dance "as een passed down for many

years and used in many different ways and for many different reasons! $"e most amazing fact

aout dance is t"at t"ere are many different genres and types of dances for e%ample& we "a'e

allet& tango& contemporary& flamenco& "ip "op& and many& many more too many to actually

count or rememer ut not (ust different genres of dance ut many cultures and religions use

dance as a weapon or as tradition as ) stated efore t"ere are many different types of dances!

performances and pas de deu%! )t was a ,ueecois contemporary dance group in -anada $"ey

egan and were acti'e etween 1.0 and 2015 t"e company is est nown for its energetic&

acroatic style and at"letic p"ysical contact! $"ey e'en "ad a signature mo'e called $"e arrel

(ump and it re3uired mo'ement in t"e air t"ey e'en collaorated wit" roc musicians& lie

years specifically 2015 it was announced t"at t"e company "ad een disanded owing to

insurmountale financial difficulties! Alt"oug" t"e company "ad its financial difficulties it still

made an impact wit" all t"e amazing performances t"ey produced specifically a pas de deu%

t"at was performed y 7cott 7erafin and 7ara +oder professional dancers t"is dance was

performed on April fourt" of two t"ousand one at t"e $oronto opera "ouse named 8lementary

particles $"is pas de deu% was c"oreograp"ed in mo'ie y 7ummer +ei 7eur and as stated

efore produced y t"e company named +a +a oot 7teps t"is performance "ad many details!

)n t"is performance t"ere is a white Caucasian young thick not fat woman wit" short light

colored "air and s"e is wearing a purple dress& t"e dress is a it open in t"e front it maes "er

loo 'ery muscular and s"e appears to e in "er twenties s"e loos young ! 9er partner is a

white -aucasian young man! 9e also loos to e in "is twenties as well& "e "as dark hair & "e is

slim& tall & and "e is wearing a black shirt and black pants t"ey are preforming a pas de deu%

w"ile ot" eing barefoot ! $"e dance starts off wit" t"e young woman named 7ara 7cott s"e is

in a curved posture w"ile sliding "er arms on top of eac" ot"er in a free flow roll onto stage left !

7"e t"en crawls on t"e floor mo'ing to the center of the stage! $"e young male t"en leaps up

off t"e ground in a percussive skip! $"e couple t"en mo'es on to gliding at t"e center of the

stage in a symmetrical meter ! ;ow t"ey are swaying in circles across t"e stage! $"ey start

pas de deux! $"is pas de deux ga'e an interpretation t"at t"e couple t"at was performing were a

t"e same time and not only t"at ut t"e way t"ey loo at eac" ot"er gi'es a sense t"at t"ey are

in lo'e and only focused on eac" ot"er t"ere were many moments were t"ey would pause and
