    Introduction

    Today and even more in the future, the search for qualified personnel will intensify for

    industrial companies. Every year, fewer graduates are choosing to pursue a technical

    course of study. In view of these decreasing numbers, Siemens encourages young

    students to be excited about technical careers - for example with the ASiAS Program.

    Based on our good relationships to German Universities we would like to inspire someof the best technical Asian students to participate at the ASiAS Program and later on

    to start a professional career at one of our Siemens companies in Asia.

    The ASiAS Program with its business orientated activities, practical experiences and

    deeper technological insights aims to provide the participants a best possible

    preparation for their career within Industrial Automation Systems (AS).

    Selected graduates will then get the opportunity to complete the Siemens Graduate

    Program (SGP), the AS Traineeship or to start a challenging and interesting job at

    Siemens in Asia directly. All options will fast-track a successful and fulfilling career at

    Siemens.
