Asian Youth Athletics Championships-2017 NMA to the participants of Asian Youth Athletics Championships that was held at Singapore from 5th to 9th July 2017. Panchamaya Tamang, Swostika Chaudhary, Venisha Rajbahak and Pemba Sherpa participated in this competition. Panchamaya Tamang, stood 3rd position in this Competition.

IFSC international climbing bouldering Competition- Mumbai NMA to the participants of IFSC international climbing bouldering Competition that will be held at Mumbai. Panchamaya Tamang, Swostika Chaudhary, Pranil Man Shrestha, Sangam K.C. and Sanam Shrestha participated in this competition.

International Climbing Elite Tournament 2018, Ningbo, China 23rd May, NMA Executive Board Member Dipendra Pandey is leading the athletes team of Nepal- Mr. Pemba Sherpa and Ms. Pancha Maya Tamang, to participate in International Climbing Elite Tournament 2018 scheduled for 26-27 May 2018 in Ningbo, China. The event is organized by Chinese Mountaineering Association (CMA).





Asian Cup, Chengdu 30 Oct. 2012, NMA has nominated the following three climbers to participate in Asia Cup 2012 to be organized by Chinese Mountaineering Association from 3- 4 Nov 2012. Asian Youth Champion, Malayasia 30 Nov. 2015, NMA participation in Asian Youth Champion (IFSC) to Malaysia for competition. NMA sent four junior Athletes (2 male & 2 Female) and a manger to participate in the competition. The Athletes have been training for last 45 days with training schedule and will participate in two discipline ( LEAD & BOULDERING ). According to their age they have been categorized into Group' A' and Group 'B'. The event is organized by Malaysia Mountaineering Association in coordination with International Federation of Sports Climbing (IFSC) and Asian Continental Council (ACC). NMA has already registered them in Athletes commission in IFSC. NMA acting President, Mr. Santa Bir Lama hand-over the flag of NMA and Nepal to the Athletes. NMA is proud to send these sponsored Athletes to participate in this competition where they represent Nepal. International Participation




NMA Participation at Asian Cup 2018 NMA organized a flag handover program on 12th June 2018 at NMA Secretariat to the participants of Asian Cup that will be held at Bangkok from 15-17 June 2018. Panchamaya Tamang, and Bhim Bahadur Tamang will participate in this competition. After participating at Asian Cup 2018 from 15-17 June 2018 they are back to Kathmandu on 18th June 2018.





NMA's participation in 2014 IFSC climbing world cup 8 Oct., NMA selected Mr. Niraj karki and Mr. Pranil Man Shrestha as athletes and Mr. Prem Gurung as sport manager for IFSC climbing competition held in Mokpo, Korea on 11 and 12 Oct 2014. Mr. Karki is the winner of NMA IFSC climbing competition held on 25 Dec and Mr. Shrestha is the winner of heritage Onsight Climbing Competition organized on 23 Sep. Earlier, a press conference was organized on 8 Oct to to give information about NMA's participation in the competition. IInd Vice President and convener of sports climbing committee Mr. Deebas Bikram Shah shared information about international federation of climbing competition (IFSC) and NMA'S participation in the program. He also informed that climbing competition will be included in Olympic Games of 2024 and we need to be prepared for that competition. Similarly, NMA president Ang Tshering Sherpa mentioned that one of major objectives of NMA is development of climbing sports activities in nepal; hence, it has been organizing sports climbing competition since many years. He also said that due to our capacity on mountaineering field, Nepal has opportunity to win medals in sport climbing international games.





World cup Bouldering 2016, Mumbai MA President handed over the national flag and NMA flag to the participants of World cup Bouldering 2016 to be held in Mumbai on 14 and 15 May 2016.
