Our roots took hold in 2009, when ASHOKA Institute of Engineering & Technology opened its doors for technical education

in Hyderabad – an Information Technology Hub of India.

Our journey in technical education began when our roots took hold in 2009 as the seeds of “ASHOKA Institute of Engineering

& Technology” were sown where one feels oneself in the lap of nature.

Located in sprawling 30 acres Technical campus with Just few engineering courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science

Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical engineering with a

vision to impart quality technical education keeping in view the future needs of our country, by implementing the high-end

technologies available at international level and bringing them to the threshold of our country so as to bring the “ASHOKA”

educational institutions to the frontline in the area of technology development taking advise of veterans in the respective fields i.e.

education, industry, management and other related professions.

Consequently the institution was granted approval by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, India and affiliation by

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, India.

awarded institute, which implies that our standards are the best as recognized by JNTUH and All India Council for Technical

Education.

Aiming to make technical education more industry-centric,

ASHOKA Institute of Engineering & Technology proposes to

request for Integrated Dual Degree structured as 4 + 1 program.

Students pursuing Dual Degree (BTECH+MBA) program will

complete 3.5/4 years of program in our Institution and join CUD

for 1 / 1.5 year to obtain dual degree certification

Management education integrated with engineering, architecture

and pharmacy, offers immense opportunities for students. The

BTECH - MBA dual degree requires 5 years of education but if

these courses were to be taken up individually, they would require

6 years of education

A dual degree program is one which requires a single course of study but two degrees

are awarded in the consolidated time period. It involves a person getting a Bachelors

and a Masters in the same program but in a shorter time frame.

An integrated study programme comprises of a curriculum that is jointly designed by

two or more higher education institutions - from different countries or disciplines and

regulated by a specific set of guidelines.

Admission to the Dual Degree Program is purely

on merit basis with careful assessment of ambition

and excitement level, good communication skills

and right supportive family background of

applicant. ASHOKA takes all efforts to involve

the partnering university in the admission process

and ensures commitment from the partnering

university in taking the students at the end of the

study period at ASHOKA, so that the students

enrolled in the dual degree programme will face

no difficulty in going to the partnering university.

It is important that the students' performance

during the study period at ASHOKA, should meet

the requirements to move to the fifth year. Also,

to meet the visa requirements, students are

advised to undergo any tests if required.

Besides shorter tenure for Master’s Degree, Dual degree benefits

students in many ways:

Global Exposure Significantly lowers the cost to secure Master’s degree overseas Unique opportunity to pursue part of Bachelor’s degree overseas GRE / GMAT requirement is waived in some cases Brightens the future with clear set goals even at entry level Parents would have enough time to organize funds The progress can be constantly reviewed to provide adequate

Twinning Program

ASHOKA BUSINESS SCHOOL proposes to request for Twinning Program / Student Exchange Programme

for Masters in Business Administration.

Education, perhaps more than any other discipline or area of professional activity, is global in its

nature, scope and impact. With the advent of globalization and different countries coming together to

promote global citizen, conventional boundaries of the past have been erased.

A major innovation in the higher education pertaining to international studies in India is the "Twining

Programme" concept. "Twining" allows a foreign partner institution to offer the first half of their university

degree programme by replicating segments of the curricula. Courses offered in India are clones of the

university courses, using identical syllabi, titles, numbers, texts, teaching formats, and evaluation standards

as their model on-campus.

According to the latest competitiveness report

by Deloitte, infrastructure and construction

sector is forecasted to become the world's

third-largest construction market by 2025.

According to the report, the Information and

Communication technology, BFSI (Banking,

financial services and insurance), Retail as

well as Infrastructure and Construction are

among the sectors which are poised to drive

growth in the country over the next 30 years.

This is structured as 3.5 + 1.5 (5 Year)

program. For instance, students enrolling

with ASHOKA BUSINESS SCHOOL for

B.Arch. program will complete their first

3.5 years of study at ASHOKA, India and

later move over to the university campus

in CANADIAN UNIVERSITY OF DUBAI

and complete the rest of the programme.

During the three and half years spent

at ASHOKA, students are trained to meet eligibility requirements through an international curriculum and have a cultural

understanding of the destination country, thus, providing students with the required foundation for the following one and

half years.

of Architecture (B.Arch.) Programme.

This unique program is designed for students aspiring to graduate in

architecture engineering from ASHOKA. With the increase in student

mobility to universities abroad, ASHOKA proposes to introduce the

ICAS program in 2015-16, with a view to encourage students to pursue

professional education in reputed foreign universities

10+3 Diploma (any stream) and secured 50% aggregate marks in aggregate with Mathematics as subject.

The candidate should have qualified at National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and should also have secured

State Architecture Rank
