Responsible for assembly of different electro/mechanical products to schedules and ensure product quality is met. Assist in production and service related tasks when required, including customer site visits. Involved greatly with fault finding and diagnostics of product testing. Provide excellent analytical and practical problem solving skills. 1

Production and After-sales Technician October 2012- October 2014 Build, test and validate oil sampling and metering products. Drive manufacturing activities from product release to shipping ensuring customer

requirements, company standards and Health & safety are adhered to. Review and understand technical drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM). Procure parts and

materials for R & D team and maintain stock levels for production. Organise and maintain contract documentation and records.

Promote after-sales service and technical support - includes all levels of repair for customers in the UK and abroad.

Greatly involved with New Product Introduction (NPI) through R & D, prototyping and production planning, ensuring projects are on time and within budget.

General Technician (Mechanical) – Corporal 2009 - 2012 Responsible for the management of periodic maintenance, rectification and control of

Ground Support Equipment. Provide technical and supervisory roles, ensuring tasks and paperwork are completed in

accordance with military publications, manuals and policies. Investigate and provide solutions to issues relating to the control of equipment in order

to reduce the loss and misuse, leading to cost savings. Liaise regularly with Support Project Management regarding technical issue and procurement.

Identify needs of equipment users – reduce/increase the equipment required – stabilise the maintenance schedule to meet maintainer capabilities, in turn allowing the comfortable management of equipment maintenance to ensure set time-scales are met.

Measure achievable objectives and lead teams of up to 8 personnel (utilising both electrical and mechanical skilled tradesman) to meet required deadlines.

Good awareness and practice of Health and Safety aspects, including risk assessment and COSHH.

General Technician (Mechanical) - Senior Air Craftsman (SAC) 2002 - 2009 Proficient in maintaining and rectifying ground support equipment, specialising as a

mechanical technician. Diverse experience and knowledge in diesel engines, ground power units, hydraulic

rigs/equipment, jacks, pneumatic equipment, compressors, Terex lift platforms and dehumidifiers.

Work to publications, manuals and technical drawings. Adhering to RAF Policies, Joint Service Publications, Procedures and Regulations including Engineering, Quality and Assurance, Military Aviation Engineering and Ground Support Equipment.
