 NEWS VOCABULARY  (August’14) 

  An Android mobile application which enables users to improve their vocabulary and keep themselves updated with current affairs at

the same time

  Learned and implemented at the same time

 

Developed using eclipse which provides an integrated development environment for many programming languages including Java  Incorporated android libraries including:-

o  Google Play Services

o  Parse Platform

o  Appcompat

o  Jsoup

o  Listview Animations

o  GTranslate

o  Android SlidingUp Panel

  Engaged these libraries together and resolved different conflicts & errors while implementing the code

  Experimented with life-cycle of fragments and activities in great detail

  Developed backend of this application using Parse platform (backend as a service) which provides complete backend solution for

mobile applications and other platforms as well

  Utilized cloud code feature to a great extent which is based on JavaScript sdk

FashUpp is a social fashion platform which provides users with a platform to discover, create and share the latest trends and looks inIndian fashion 

  Was a part of 5 member development team for the period of internship  

  Studied the complete anatomy of a mobile application and development essentials e.g., UI, UX, efficiency, memory usage, etc

  Prepared a detailed structure of the mobile application and various concepts used in different parts of the application

  Extensively used concepts related to Fragments and networking to make application user friendly

 NGO CYI, Patna ( June’13) 

  This trust was based on the concept of providing latest education facilities to under-privileged students belonging to naxali te affected  

remote  rur al area  in the Indian state Bihar

  Was a part of management team

  Initiated several activities e.g., to communicate with people to motivate in order to open coaching institutions with the help of

instructors and students educated from ivy league institutions of India

  Worked in a team of 30 to Organize Block Level competition for students under the NGO, CYI Wind of Inspiration

 

Contacted top bureaucrats of the district and convinced to attend  Award Function of the competition

  Trust was working on government projects related to police department on the other side

  In one of those projects, devised a secured method to collect data from public related to outsiders

Explored facture strength and DBTT (Ductile Brittle Transition Temperature) of Stainless Steel 304, 410, 310 with the help of various

techniques including Charpy Impact test and other techniques in a team of 7 

  Utilized techniques including Energy vs. Temperature graph to explore relationship between Mechanical properties and observed

respective Energies 

  Prepared a project presentation report based on above observations to present in front of a class comprising 200 students
