About the Artist -Mary Wilmoth

Our official artwork for ArtsFest2014 is “Paint Brushes” by local artistMary Wilmoth. Color, form and linefascinate Ms. Wilmoth. For manyyears she explored them throughcloth and thread in the form of quilt-ing and needlework. Painting is thecontinuation of that explorationthrough the use of pigment andbrushes. Her artwork, “PaintBrushes,” is fresh, modern, and strik-ingly beautiful. We love it!
