¼ of Art Gallery is

an oasis in the middle of the Zone

T. This gallery and café bar doesn’t

have to compete

with his noisy neighbors. His own

is art and good vibes, not crossover

music blaring.

¼ Art Gallery opened its doors in

December 2008 as a space dedicated

to the dissemination and promotion of

contemporary art, focusing on the

artistic production

of young and

emerging artists, both national and

international. The project aims to

support these

artists through an accompaniment and

tools necessary for the consolidation of

their careers.

Apart from the many exhibitions

that there are during the year, ¼

of Art Gallery seeks to create other

dynamics that help to consolidation of

cultural industries

and public involvement

practices that apparently seem

distant and incomprehensible.

Thus, once a month artists are invited to

do workshops,

performances, concerts and other

group dynamics, totally free, in

which anyone who

approaches the Gallery can

participate.

So if you want to change your routine

take a delicious coffee or a cold

beer while listening

to good music and enjoy the works

of artists like, Joana Catalina Moreno,

Andres Lopez and Giovanny Sánchez

The image that

Colombia had the

tequila three

decades ago was that of a stiff drink,

MONDRIAN

The name of the edgy

Dutch painter Piet Mondrian now lives in

Bogota's Zone Rosa, in the middle of a space that aims to

mix art and rumba in one place.

and that is what Mondrian, a Bar Museum which

opened a few days ago, wants to reflect

a Dutchman who was the founder of Neo.

The main salon

It’s located where until recently was

“El Teatro Libertador”, It's a stage evoking a

to childhood. The author of this circus is Germán Arrubla,

who decided to bring to Bogotá a version of this place I was born in Medellin twelve years ago.

Originally planned as a space for gathering, art and creativity, defined by its creator as "retro, playful and mutant, a place to be fascinated and not leave again."

There are many

things that are carefully watered by the huge space in the

bar, it's hard to stop looking to the

smallest corner of the site. The huge leaves foliage covering the

ceiling with hanging jugglers as having its

own life, or the statue of the Sacred Heart with the head in a
