MONTHWISE DETAILS

APRIL

1. English Handwriting competition was held on 29 April 2018 for the classes I to VIII.

The competition was adjudged on the basis of neatness, clarity, punctuation and spelling errors,

spacing and size of letters .The winners were declared class wise.

2. Slogan writing competition was organised on 29 April 2018 for the classes IX ,X,XII.

Topics for slogan writing :

(a) Earth for class IX.

(b) Water for class X.

(c) Global Warming for class XII.

The best slogans were selected from each class and winners were declared.

MAY

1. Drawing and Painting Competition was organised on 06 May 2017 for the classes I to X.

Topics for Drawing and Painting:

(a) Draw a landscape for class VI.

(b) 2D Geometrical Design for class VII.

(c) Still Life for class VIII.

(d) Vision 2030 for class IX.

(e) Advertise your product with catchy Jingle for class X.

The students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm.They made beautiful and colourful paintings.

Judgement was done on the basis of creativity, colour combination and neatness.

JUNE

1. Poster making competition was held on 30 June 2018 for classes IX and X.

Topic of Poster making: Drug abuse.

Judgement was done on the basis of creativity, neatness, (drawing)expression of thoughts.

JULY

1. Inter House English Extempore competition was held on 01 July 2017 for classes I to V classwise.

Eight participants from three sections were selected. Participants represented their respective

houses very well.

2. Inter House English and Hindi Declamation was organised on 01 July 2017 for classes VI to VIII.

For English Declamation three participants and for Hindi Declamation three participants were

selected by house teachers.

Topics of English Declamation:

(a) Importance of Time

(b) Follow your Role model

Topics of Hindi Declamation were:

(a) Our Global responsibilities.

(b) Rights and responsibilities of citizens.

2. Inter House English and Hindi Debate was organised on 01 July 2017 for classes IX to XII.

Topic of English Debate: Demonitization.

Topic of HindiDebate : Canintroduction of moral values in curriculum bring progress in student's life

3. A solemn Investiture Ceremony was held on 21 July 2017. School Head boy and Head girl were

piped by the Chairman, Brig DV Singh whereas School Vice Head boy and Vice Head girl was Piped by

SSO Col. PV Mohan. House Prefects were honoured and badges were given by house teachers. All

office bearers took oath to maintain dignity and honour of the school.

4. Inter House Hindi patriotic group song competition was held on 29 July 2017 for classes I to V.

In each group there were 10 students. Participants displayed wonderful coordination of rhythm.

AUGUST

1. Rakhi making competition was organised on 05 August 2017 for the classes I to III

2. Greeting card making competition was held on 05 August 2017 for the classes IV to VIII.

Children made innovative colourful cards using chart paper,handmade sheets,colours and other

accessories.

3. Inter House Quiz Competition was organised on 05 August 2017 for the classes IX to XII.

Each team consisted of three participants. There were several rounds which included Audio visual,

Rapid fire, Indian Army, Current affairs, Space, Sports etc.

4. A Guest Lecture on adolescence was held. Volunteers of Procter and Gamble Company gave the

lecture and demonstration. For the seminar mothers and daughters (classes VI to VIII) were present.

Discussion on puberty, health and hygiene was conducted.

5. Inter House Quiz Competition was held on 19 August 2017 for the classes VI to VIII.

6. Inter House Spellathon Competition was organised on 19 August 2017 for the classes IX to XII.

It was for the first time that a Spellathon of this level was organised. Students were enthusiastic to

and gave inputs whole heartedly. Three participants were there from each house. This competition

included spellings, vocabulary, grammar and famous books and authors

7. Inter House English Elocution Competition was held on 31 August 2017 for the classes I to V.

Topics for English Elocution:

(a) Humorous story for class V

(b) If I were...... for class IV

(c) Any moral story for class III

(d) Poem on Nature for class II

(c) Any Poem for classes I

8. Inter House Hindi Skit Competition was organised on 31 August 2017 for the classes VI to XII

Topic for Hindi Skit Competition : Social Values with humour.

Four houses covered the following themes

Ashoka house: Cleanliness.

Shivaji House: Pollution( Way of living).

Pratap House: Superstition.

Tipu House: Corruption.

SEPTEMBER

1. Essay writing and painting competition was held for classes VI to X on 08 September 2017 as per

the CBSE circular- Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) National Competition.

Students have made beautiful paintings and presented their ideas and messages through Essay

writing to conserve petroleum products and reduce emission in English or Hindi language .Four best

paintings and 2 best Essay were selected after competition.

2. Slogan writing Competition was organised for classes XI and XII on 18 September 2017 as per the

instruction given in CBSE circular received from the Ministry of Drinking water, Sanitation and MoD

SwachhataPakhwada. Students have made very innovative and creative slogans.

3. Creative craft making activity was held on 19 September 2017 for classes I to V.

Class teachers taught children to make beautiful crafts and prepared students. All children

participated enthusiastically.

10. As per the CBSE circular on Energy Conservation 2017, Painting Competition was organised for

the classes IV and V (Group A). The aim of the Ministry of Power Association with Bureau of Energy

Efficiency is to create awareness and inculcate in children the habit of energy conservation and to

sensitize them towards the issues of energy conservation.
