Similar i n performance to the AC 50, but designed to meet specifications calling for coatings with a higher solids content. AC 100 was developed primarily for use directly over spray in-  place polyurethane foam due to its excellent adhesive qualities as well as its superior reflectivity making it extremely UV resistant to protect your roof from the intense heat and the sun’s damaging ultra-violet rays encountered in the Southwestern United States. PRODUCT USE While AC 100 was originally designed for use over spray in-place  polyurethane foam, it is an excellent choice for many other substrates, including, but not limited to metal, asphalt emulsion, masonry, asphalt shingles, cap sheet, plywood and concrete. In some cases, a primer/basecoat may be required. Consult with manufacturer for any/all application specific recommendations prior to starting your install.  PRODUCT LIMITATIONS AC 100 is not a vapor barrier and should not be used over cold storage facilities. Keep product from freezing. Product should be stored between 55°F and 90°F to prolong shelf life. Do not apply when temperatures are below 60°F and falling. Do not apply when rain or freezing temperatures are forecast within 24 hours. Do not apply in areas without positive drainage. PRODUCT ADVANTAGES  HIGHLY REFLECTIVE  EXCELLENT ELASTICITY  HIGH SOLIDS CONTENT  ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE  EXCELLENT ADHESION TO MOST SUBSTRATES  RETAINS ELASTICITY APPLICATION Surface should be clean, dry and free from foreign materials (i.e.: dirt, oils, grease, loose paint/coatings, loose gravel, etc.). AC 100 should be applied at a rate of 1.5 to 3.5 gallons per 100 sq. feet depending on job. (Consult with manufacturer for recommendations/requirements). Product should never be applied at a rate greater than 1.75 gallons per 100 sq. ft. in any one  pass/application. If additional gallons are needed, multiple applications are required. P roduct can be applied with brush, roller (1.25” nap) or spray (back rolling recommended to avoid pin-holing). Adequate cure time is required in between applications and can vary with weather conditions (Consult with manufacturer for recommendations/requirements). When applying over fresh foam, a minimum of 2 gallons should be applied in two separate coats within 48 hours of the foam application.
