Three Natural Resources

• Mining And Minerals- Arizona is the nation’s major supplier of copper. The copper comes from both open pit and underground mines. Most of the copper comes from San Manuel, Tucson, Morenci, Globe, Miami, and the Ray pit in Pinal Country.

• Agriculture- Arizona has about eight thousand farms. About seventy-five percent of the states total land area is used for grazing herds of cattle and sheep.
