ARIES LASER VIBROMETER VELA The optimization of vibration and acoustic characteristics is a high priority in product development labs. This demand for improvement is reected in continuous development of new analysis tools and sophisticated Vibration Measurement T echnology . The Laser Doppler Vibrometer hold s the current gold standard for ex perimental vib ration measurement and modal analysis. This product’s measurements offer critical feedback for design model validation, manufacturing process control, inspection of nished product and preventive mainte nance of in-service equipment. VELA can be directed towards moving objects that may be difcult to access, or may be too small or too hot to attach a physical transducer. The Doppler frequency is then processed to give output voltage proportional to surface speed at scanned point at real time. • VELA-SP.
