Registration Information

To participate in any city-wide community association program the following basic conditions will apply:

`A community association membership is required from your local community association. The fee is $5.00 per family per year. Memberships may be purchased in advance at the Community Centre or on registra-tion night. Community Memberships

are non-refundable.

If you cannot afford any of the programs, alternative methods of payment may be discussed in confidence by calling the Centre during the day and leaving a message for a board member to call at 543-5653.

Registration for programs is received on a first come, first serve basis. A minimum registration has been set for each class. If an insufficient number register for a class, the class will be cancelled and registrants will receive a full refund. If more people register for a class than a class can hold, a waiting list will be taken and a new class organized if possible.

If you register for a program and later decide you do not want to attend, we regret we cannot refund all or a portion of your course fee one week prior to the commencement of the program.

The course fee is charged to pay instructor’s fees.

Registrations will not be accepted by phone before registration night. If you are unable to attend the night of registration, ask a neighbour to register for you or drop in to the Community Centre during the evening later in the week.

Steps to Register

Attend registration night on Tuesday, January 8, 2013.

Registrations for programs within and outside Argyle Park are accepted at your local community center. You will be contacted by phone if any program you have registered for has been cancelled.

Purchase your $5.00 family community association membership if you have not already done so.

All programs are held at the Argyle Park Community Center unless otherwise listed

North Zone Indoor Soccer North Zone Indoor Soccer would like to thank you all. This is a community run soccer program,

run by a group of volunteers. Parents and spectators have a great influence on children’s enjoy-ment and success in soccer. All children play soccer because they first and foremost enjoy the

game – its fun. But, however good a child becomes at soccer within the community program, it is important to remember that encouragement will contribute to:

-Children enjoying soccer -A sense of personal achievement

-High self-esteem -Improving the child’s skill level

A parent / spectator’s expectations and attitudes have a significant bearing on a child’s attitude towards other players, referees, coaches and spectators.

* Remember children learn best by example * Show respect for others

Encourage and be supportive Be dignified in defeat. Honest effort is more important than victory
