Submission of a formal request accompanied by a business plan using a standard form. The Business Plan will be evaluated on three different levels:
•Technical-scientific evaluation•Economic-legal investigation •Technical-logistical analisys
Evaluation of tenant application

Three levels:
•Technical Scientific Evaluation: evaluation of the plan activity concerning the technical merit of the initiative and originality of the project. It is carried out by external experts
•Economic-legal investigation: examination of the economic and financial plan of the project in order to express an evaluation on the correctness of the methodology of the paln and conformity of historical data. Acquisition of information on the legal nature of the candidate
•Analysis of technical and logistical requirements: candidate needs are collected and feasibility checks carried out for spaces, facilities, services, safety and environment, customization of structures, IT and telecommunications requirements

Basic requirements for evaluating tenant programs are:
•Consistency with development strategy of AREA•Compatibility of business with AREA spaces and environment•Technical and Scientific value of the R&D project•Originality of the project and contribution of expected results to scientific knowledge of sector•Economic and financial evaluation of historic data•Economic and financial evaluation of Business Plan•Industrial and market prospects

• Since 2008, AREA Science Park organizes an yearly convention dedicated to “one to one” business meetings, between AREA’s tenants and businessmen, managers and operators from Italy and abroad
• The third annual Business Day took place on 29 October 2010
