INTRODUCTION

The Diversion Information Resource Package is one of several tools being developed and utilized by the Consulta-tion Centre to facilitate the exchange of current information amongst individuals and groups interested in both the conceptual and practice issues of Diversion.

In striving to accomplish this objective, this package consists of number listings of both primary and secondary sources of information: Information Resource Contacts; Existing Diversion Projects in Canada; Diversion Project Resource Contacts; Diversion Audio-Visual Resources and the Diversion accession list.

Each section has a short introduction outlining a number of its uses and limitations.

Updates to the information contained in these listings will occur as currency and volume of material dictate.

As with any resource tool, its usefulness depends exclusively on its relevance to its users. We would appreciate any feedback you may have with regard to the content and structure of the package. In addition, we would welcome additions to the listings, e.g. additional information resources, contacts, articles, unpublished papers, etc.

Any communication should be addressed to the National Consultant on Diversion - Consultation Centre, Ministry of the Solicitor General, 340 Laurier Ave. West Ottawa, Ontario KlA 0P8.
