Objective:

To work in an architectural practice that will push the current limits of my abilities, over the summer holidays; and to better prepare myself for the final year of masters, as well as my future career in the industry.

Interests:

Timber construction – With the advancement with cross-laminated timber, timber construction is a really interesting and quite beautiful alternative construction method.

Adaptive reuse – Recent Design assignments at Uni were of great interest to me, they were based on retrofitting existing buildings, and relating modern designs with heritage structures in an urban context.

ESD – Designing buildings with consideration to how they perform sustainably throughout their entire life cycle.
