Adam Reed was born and raised in the beautiful mountain town of Asheville, North Carolina,where he spent his formative years being shooed away from the television.

He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he majored in English and(almost, were it not for one lousy F) minored in Drama. After graduation from UNC in 1992,

Reed traveled to Chamonix, France, where he worked as a handyman and bartender before

returning to the States due to an appalling lack of funds. Luckily, he had the foresight to have

a kind older sister, Anna, who got him a job in her division at Turner Broadcasting.

Reed moved to Turners Cartoon Network in 1994, where he began working with Matt Thompsonon High-Noon Toons and the seminal Capn Link and Kitty FunFun. Reed left Cartoon Network in

1996, rather abruptly, during production ofA.M. Mayhem with Carrot Top. Reed and Thompsonthen moved to New York, where they spent a year in the sordid underbelly of daytime talk

shows before founding 70-30 Productions.

In 1999, Reed and Thompson created Sealab 2021, which ran for four seasons on Adult Swim.

They followed this mild success with another Adult Swim original, Frisky Dingo. Reed left70-30 Productions in 2008, taking a year off to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail (didnt) and

then walk the Via de la Plata, which runs nearly the entire length of Spain (did). It was

while staggering across the sun-blasted interior of Spain that Reed came up with the idea

forArcher, which FX was cool enough to buy.

Reed founded Atlanta-based Floyd County Productions in 2008, and divides his time

between Atlanta and his hometown of Asheville. He is currently single (but looking). He has

so much love to give.

Matt Thompson was born in the year 1518 in the Highlands of Scotland. In 1536, he waswounded in battle with a neighboring clan, but he miraculously revived shortly after his

death. Accusing him of witchcraft, Thompsons clansmen banished him forever from his clan

and birthplace. Realizing he was immortal, he set out to achieve his life long dream: become a

bartender at Bennigans.

It took him over 400 years, journeying as far away as Texas.His travels included killing a Nazi

ofcer during World War II and riding a dinosaur in the Kentucky Derby. About this time he

stated, Im not good with timelines. His experiences left him a bitter, cynical man.

In 1992 his luck nally turned and he was hired at a Bennigans in Atlanta, Georgia. Withsteadfast determination, over the course of three months he worked his way up to bar back.

And then destiny struck. The head bartender got a job at Steak and Ale. Thompsons persistence

had nally paid off; he was now slinging Long Island Iced Teas with a heaping side of Monte

Cristo (raspberry sauce on the side). Sadly, this happiness would not last.

One night in October, the night manager accused him of shorting his drawer. An enraged

Thompson punched out the manager and was promptly red. Wishing only for a death that

would not come, Thompson punished himself by taking a job in the most disreputable placehe could nd. In 1993 this was borne out with a job in the on-air department of Cartoon

Network. It is here that he met up with Adam Reed and did a bunch of stuff you can read

about in Adams bio.

Currently Matt Thompson resides in Atlanta, Georgia where he manages a staff of 35 angry littlepeople who make cartoons. And against Sean Connerys advice, he has taken a wife with whom he

has three children. This is the only thing keeping him from waging war against every Bennigans in

America: the utter joy that an immortal can have children.

That and all the quickening stuff.

Suave, vain and overly confident, Sterling Archer is an expert secret agent who is inept in mostother aspects of his life. His relationship with his mother Malory who is also his boss at ISIS

is often strained, never sympathetic and sometimes Oedipal. Archer has the less-than-masculine

codename of Duchess and used to date fellow agent Lana Kane, which makes their working

environment tenuous and difficult. At home, he employs a full-time butler, Woodhouse.

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, H. Jon Benjamin has

garnered an extensive list of credits as a writer, producerand actor in some of televisions most entertaining series.

Benjamin is perhaps best known for providing the voice of Dr.

Katzs lazy son Ben in Comedy Centrals animated hit series

Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist from 1995-1999. In 2006, heco-created (with David Cross) the animated series Freak Show

and provided the voice of Tuck. Freak Showalso aired on

Comedy Central. Most recently, Benjamin teamed again with

the network as a writer and co-producer ofImportant Thingswith Demetri Martin, a sketch comedy show in which he

appeared as numerous characters.

Benjamins other credits include Home Movies for Cartoon

Network; Family Guyfor FOX; andAssy McGee,Aqua TeenHunger Force and The Venture Bros. for Cartoon Networks

Adult Swim.

As Chief Executive Officer of ISIS, Malory Archer governs her employees with harsh criticism,raw commentary and belligerent vilification and almost always with a drink in one hand. A

former spy herself, Malory is Sterlings mother and enjoys a romantic life via the telephone.

A graduate of New Yorks High School of the Performing

Arts and the Neighborhood Playhouse School of theTheatre, Walter has extensive theater credits that include

productions both on-and off-Broadway. On Broadway,

she has appeared in Peter Ustinovs Photo Finish, which

earned her the Clarence D erwent Award as Most PromisingNewcomer,A Severed Head,Advise and Consent,

Night Life and Neil Simons Rumors. Her off-Broadway

credits include roles at Playwrights Horizons and in Tartuffe,

opposite Ron Leibman, at the Los Angeles Theater Center.

Walter received an Emmy Award for Best Dramatic Actress

in the television seriesAmy Prentiss. She also earned

Emmy nominations for her guest-starring roles in episodes

ofTrapper John, M.D. and The Streets of San Francisco.

Walters additional television credits include 90210, SavingGrace,Arrested Development, Mission Impossible; The

Immortal,All That Glitters, Murder, She Wrote, Coach,

Law & Order, Touched By An Angel,Just Shoot Me andJack& Jill, among others. Additionally, she was the voice of the

mother dinosaur on the series Dinosaurs and was also a

regular on The Round Table, Oh BabyandAarons Way.

She is currently shooting an episode ofLaw & Order: SVU.

Walter starred in the miniseries Arthur Haileys Wheels.

She also starred in numerous MOWs including The

Immortal , Threes a Crowd, Women in Chains, Home

for the Holidays , Shes Dressed to Kill, Scruples andThursdays Child, among others.

Walters feature lms include Clint Eastwoods directorial

debut, Play Misty for Me, which earned her a Golden Globenomination. Walter made her screen debut in 1964 in the

lm Lilith, starring opposite Warren Beatty. Her additional

lm credits include roles in Sidney LumetsThe Group, Grand

Prix, Bye Bye Braverman, Number One, Spring Fever, GoingApe, The Flamingo Kid, Tapeheads, Ghost in the Machine,P.C.U., The Temptress, The Slums of Beverly Hills, Grownups

Most people rst fell for Aisha Tylers unique brand of

comedy while watching her host E!s Emmy-winning pop

culture crucible Talk Soup. As the rst woman and rst

African-American to host the show, she instantly becamea comedic cult icon.

But that first big break came amidst a million little

breaks: years perfecting her standup act on the road

while simultaneously performing on some of televisionsmost-watched shows, including being a favorite on

Bill Mahers political roundtable Politically Incorrect.

In addition, she enjoyed a groundbreaking two-season

arc on NBCs powerhouse hit Friends, as well as roleson television dramas like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,

24 and The Ghost Whisperer.

Aishas lm roles include Balls of Fury,.45, Death Sentence,Black Water Transit and Bedtime Stories. Most recently, she

lent her voice to Aaron McGruders hit animated series The

Boondocks, and showed off her improv chops in the comedy-

doc cult sensation Reno 911!

Aishas rst book, Swerve:Reckless Observations of a

Postmodern Girl, was recently published by Dutton.

Strong, voluptuous and often exasperated, Lana Kane is a star agent at ISIS as wellas Sterlings former girlfriend. Lana has a penchant for adult films and is currently

dating ISIS comptroller Cyril Figgis, to the mystification of her colleagues.

Chris is an alumnus ofSaturday Night Live and was a

regular cast member from 1998-2006 and most recentlymade several guest appearances during the 2008

Presidential campaign. At SNL, he was perhaps best

known for his Weekend Update raps as well as many

dead-on impressions that included Tom Brokaw, SenatorJoe Lieberman and Eminem.

Chris appears regularly as Dr. Leo Spaceman on the

NBC Emmy-winning comedy 30 Rock. In 2007, he co-

starred with Judy Greer and Brooke Burns on the ABCcomedy Miss/Guided. He also currently plays several

roles on WordGirl, the Scholastic/PBS animated series

he also narrates.

On the big screen, Chris has appeared in Walk Hard:

The Dewey Cox Story, Hot Rod, Kablueyand The Grand

with Woody Harrelson, David Cross and Ray Romano.

He recently completed shooting the lm Paper Man

starring Jeff Daniels and Lisa Kudrow. Chris other lmwork includesAnchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,

The Ladies Man, Down with Love, HaroldandJingle All

the Way, which marked his lm debut in 1996.

A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Chris earned a degree

in drama from the North Carolina School of the Arts

and appeared in several produc tions with The Berkshire

Theatre Festival in Stockbridge, Massachusetts and theAlley Theater in Houston before moving to Los Angeles.

After several years of improvisation and sketch writing

classes, Chris became a member of The Groundlings

comedy troupe in 1997.

As the ISIS comptroller, Cyril is a rigid, unerring company man and Sterlings easiesttarget for ridicule and humiliation usually without Cyrils knowledge. Boorish and

awkward, he is jealous of Sterlings career, charisma and provocative lifestyle. Cyril

is dating ISIS agent Lana Kane, Sterlings former girlfriend.

A native of Detroit, Judy trained for nearly ten years in

classical Russian ballet. Upon shifting her interest to actingshe was accepted into Chicagos prestigious The Theatre

School at DePaul University.

Judy just completed shooting the feature lm Marmaduke,

and recently appeared in Love Happens opposite JenniferAniston and Aaron Eckhart. Judy also recently wrapped

the independent dark romantic comedy Barry Munday.

Her additional big screen credits include The Go-Getter

with Zooey Deschanel and Jena Malone and the romanticcomedy 27 Dresses, in which she starred opposite Katherine

Heigl and James Marsden. Judys other lm credits include

Visioneers, The TV Set,American Dreamz, Elizabethtown,

The Village, 13 Going on 30, I Love Your Work, The Hebrew

Hammer,Adaptation, The Wedding Planner, What WomenWant, The Great New Wonderful, What Planet Are You

Judys television credits include the ABC comedy Miss/Guidedwhich received a Teen Choice nomination for

Choice TV: Breakout Show. Her additional television credits

include House, Two and a Half Men, My Name is Earl, Its

Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Californication,ArrestedDevelopment and Love Monkey. She can be heard as the

voice of Wendy on Nickelodeons animated series, Glenn

Martin, DDS.

Cheryl is Malorys prattling secretary and the office gossip at ISIS who is infatuatedwith Sterling. Cheryl changes her name frequently in order to acquiesce to whomever

is in her presence.

Veteran stage actor George Coe was a member of the

original Broadway companies ofWhat Makes Sammy Run?,Mame, Companyand On the Twentieth Centuryand has

appeared in touring productions ofLook Homeward,Angel

and Gypsy. In the mini-musical Money, which ran for a year

at New Yorks famous cabaret Upstairs at the Downstairs,George famously played 22 different roles. He has acted in

numerous off-Broadway and regional theater productions,

most recently at the La Jolla Playhouse, the Long Wharf

Theater in The Model Apartment, South Coast Rep and atthe Geffen Playhouse in Gods Man In Texas.

Georges ve decades in television include starring roles

in the daytime dramas Somerset, The Doctors andAll My

Children. His extensive primetime credits include Bones,

Numb3rs, nip/tuck, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Private Practice,Greys Anatomy, Supernatural, Cold Case, Gilmore Girls,

Judging Amy, Smallville and The West Wing.

George has also appeared in over 30 lms including Kramervs. Kramer, The Stepford Wives, Best Seller, The Mighty

Ducks, BigEden and the classic short lm De Dva (The

Dove). He most recently appeared as Adam Sandlers father

in Judd Apatows comedy Funny People.

Although Woodhouse is Sterlings elderly and devoted butler, he takes harsh andfrequent criticism from his employer. Woodhouse raised Sterling since his boyhood,

as Malory was a frequently absent mother and Sterlings father is unknown.
