Welcome to the city of Arcdut, a city busting with trade,
arenas, guilds,and homes. The dwarves that used to inhabit these
Badhon Mountainsbuilt the city ages ago. It was but twenty years
ago Ricard Fost hadtaen the crown, and has made the citi!ens live
in fear. "e is a ruthlessmonarch that has caused the su#ering of
many $eo$le and has e$t
his $ower $urely through his understanding and great $ower of
thearcane. Although most days he stays u$ in his manor, the
citi!ens livetheir lives in fear of his corru$ted rule. The arena
has been closed inorder to renovate it after the blood stains and
the broen $illars. It hasbeen under construction for sometime now
and will soon becom$leted. In the Maret of Arcdut, there are
several sho$s thattravelers will %nd to buy and sell their wares.
There is the &ir 'estles,the alchemy sho$, where one can buy a
variety of $otions, $oisons orthe ingredients for both. (ne could
stay at the Arcdut Inn if they werelooing to stay in town or s$end
a while at the bar in order to tal totheir $atrons. "ammer ) Anvil
has a variety of wea$ons, heavy armor
and tools. I hear *otin is having a sale in a fortnight or so.
The&washbucler has a $lethora of bows, arrows, medium and light
armorand one+handed wea$ons. "alRaths -vocation sells many
di#erentmagical items, staves, wands, scrolls etc. Many of the
other sho$shave been closed by ings (rders and are boarded u$. The
Mages/uild and Fighters /uild are located to the southwest of the
city andare o$en during normal day hours to non+members. Although
one mustin0uire with them for membershi$. In the south entrance to
town, thereis a wanted board where one can %nd miscellaneous
criminals at+largeand can bring them to 1ustice for a reward of
course. &ome beggarslitter the streets on every other corner or
hallway. Recently, the
citi!ens have been noticing the beggars disa$$earing but
haventased anything of it. The town guards all live in the barracs
ne2t toFosts Manor. The gate to Fosts Manor and said barracs has
recentlybeen closed to the $ublic. (utside the city lay the stables
and a clear$ath to the "ighland Road.
