Fashion Marketing is a bridge to create and maintain the relationship with consumers by satisfying their desires. That’s how it made me become more experimental, communicative and understanding.

Fashion has always been my passion and Raffles Merchandising Institute has given me an opportunity to pursue my dream. It was a great step that I took in 2009 and my journey in Raffles Merchandising Institute has been a pleasant one. Therefore, I would give thanks to my parents for being supportive. Exciting times lie ahead.

As a Fashion Marketing student, working in groups is most valuable in bringing about successful fashion shows and academic marketing projects.. I believe the practical skills I learnt in Raffles will be instrumental in my future work.

Raffles had been an amazing and thought provoking experience for me. Each project was like an invention because we, the scientists, had to think out of the box in order to bring something new and exciting to the cause. Real world experience had been a key element while studying at Raffles and I will treasure this for my life. I would dearly thank all my lectures in making this experience possible because without their guidance, we are like scientists without equipment.

I am happy that I have been able to experience fashion-marketing education in different places, including Shanghai and Singapore. I learned to work with various people, helping me to be more professional.

My three years in Raffles Design Institute was filled with unforgettable memories. I learnt a lot of skills that will be an asset in my future career and it was a good opportunity to improve myself to be more creative. It was really helpful being educated by professional lecturers and colleagues.

At Raffles College, not only do I acquire knowledge academically, I’ve learned communication skills between people, working as a group and ultimately working under extreme pressure. I really enjoyed my time here at Raffles College and I have made friends that I would never make anywhere else.

Fashion is my passion and enrolling myself into Fashion Marketing course is one of the most important decisions in my life. The things I remember the most are my internship, Major studio project and the friends I made. Raffles Design Institute has equipped me with the knowledge of fashion and business knowledge, and I know I am ready to face the real fashion industry.

3 years of study in RDI allowed me to explore fashion from different perspectives with different people. Being involved in the Indonesian Student Association in RDI (PPI-RDI) leaves me a lot of tiring but sweet memories. I will never forget the family spirit that prevailed at RDI.

I feel the rush of excitement for the knowledge that I gained. Studying for three years in Raffles have led me to meet the most wonderful team; Maureen Oktaviani, Priscilla Suwangto and Yorienie Pramega and the highly creative and cultivated lecturers; Brian W. Forst and Sandra Moorehouse. Thank you for this experience and great adventure. The knowledge that I gained will be most treasured.

During my three years in Raffles, I experienced many things, gained lots of memories, where happiness, sadness, disappointment, and all the emotions always blend into one. However, I am truly grateful, that I was given much valuable knowledge, with many thanks to all of my lecturers. Studying at Raffles Design Institute gives me a lot of precious things that I believe would help me in my future. Besides gaining knowledge from the experienced lecturers, I am also grateful for having amazing friends who always help me whenever I face obstacles in my learning. Their presence had always been my greatest support for these past 3 years. Thank you my friends.

Studying at Raffles Design Institute not only provides me a chance to get quality education but also allows me to get a global exposure to the world of Fashion . Here I get to learn the techniques of marketing and also get an idea of how to apply them in order to get the maximum output. And this is a very important factor as today we face a very competitive world around us; a world that is linked together. Raffles is not only providing me with quality education of international standards but is also teaching us the proper application of that knowledge. I feel like Raffles is an opportunity that has been handed to me on a platter and everyday spent there is an experience for me.

In short, fashion marketing was such a intriguing subject to learn because it allows involvement in fashion industry and enables comprehension of people skills.

I have gained a great experience and knowledge throughout the 3 years studies at Raffles Design Institute. My favorite modules are Contemporary History of Costume and Style and Trend as I have learnt how fashion change and influence people over the years. Besides that, I have met some friends who have inspired me to be a better person.

During 3 years of studiesv in Raffles Design Institute, Shanghai and Singapore, the greatest things is learning all the knowledge regarding fashion marketing and working with a highly inspiring fashion marketing team where my skills and experience can be optimally utilized.

The study in both Shanghai Raffles and Singapore Raffles is really a good and useful experience in my life. The unforgettable memory in my mind was the sponsor of garments who went back on his word the day before the fashion show. However, we did it!

After three years spent here in Raffles, I have met my two most favorite lecturers; Brian W. Forst and Ayub Mohammed. They thought me historical fashion events and applying marketing strategies to the real world. My sincere thanks for Raffles Design Institute to have introduced me to these wonderful lecturers. The knowledge that I gained will be most cherished.

During the study period in Raffles Design Institute, I have learn many useful professional knowledge about how to be a good fashion merchandiser that I dreamt of when I was only 12 years. The teachers are very professional and helpful and the students are very creative and hard working. I really got precious memories in Raffles school.

In my 3 years of studies in Raffles Design Institute, I have not only gained a wonderful experience but also made very good friends. My most memorable module would be the Promotion & Coordination whereby the class worked together to create an event – Viva Las Vegas, at Butterfactory.

The two years spent in Raffles have been enjoyable but yet stressful at times. I have learnt a lot from all my lecturers. The highlights of my time with Raffles are taking part in a fashion styling competition and organizing a charity fashion show. It has been a fruitful and wonderful experience.

Meeting with new friends are so much fun. We had a lot of memories of the time we spent together in the past 2 years. We have been through difficulties from the beginning of semester until the last semester, from doing a group project to the final project. I have learnt many things from every module in Fashion Marketing and I enjoy it every bit of them. I love Fashion Marketing.

It was great to study Fashion Marketing and Merchandising in Raffles Design Institute, Singapore. Since I was a transfer student from Raffles Jakarta, it is really nice to meet new friends from different race and culture and also new lecturers, who are very friendly and awesome. Raffles Design Institute has also give me the opportunity to work in Raffles Privato during my internship and this helps me to start my careers before I step out from college life. Study in Raffles Design Institute makes me become a more creative, active and open-minded person!

I have been studying Fashion Marketing and Management in Raffles for almost 2 years and I love this school. I got a chance to do real projects and it’s really useful for my career in the future. Our lecturers are very friendly and I have learned a lot from them.

In these 2 years of college life, my fondest memories are of the process of learning every single detail, in educationand in life. I learnt to be more independent and I get along with other people. In all the courses that I gone through, there is one similarity; that is “Teamwork” leads to success. For every problem there’s a solution. Face it and conquer it.

I’m a Vietnamese student who took an advanced Diploma in Fashion marketing and management course in Raffles School. After spending 2 years studying in this school I see that it’s really worthwhile, especially for those who are planning to study overseas. I found that I’m growing up day by day with the knowledge I’ve got, with the practical modules and real projects and of course with the many sleepless nights. But these were my unforgettable memories. It’s worth while!

I am very blessed to have such a wonderful opportunity to study and learn in one of the best fashion school. I studied fashion marketing because someday I want to be a successful fashion marketer and that’s why I chose Raffles Design in the first place. In Raffles, I studied a lot of modules like advertising, fashion marketing, visual merchandising, history of fashion and etc that could help me be a successful marketer. Studying here is so much fun, I met a lot of good teachers who taught me about fashion industry and wonderful friends, with whom I can share knowledge with. So after all, studying in Raffles Design is the right way to be a successful fashion marketer, and I can’t wait to finish my last year for my bachelor degree here.
