Memories Are Made AtMetroparks Summer Camps
Nature Camp (Ages 7 to 12)Nature Camp is a week o nature discoveryand exploration or kids that includes unand educational activities, games and livinghistory. Each day has a dierent ocus. Itsa great educational experience or children
who enjoy nature, history and the outdoors.
Home base is Wildwood Preserve, with twodays o eld trips to enjoy shing, boating,wildlie watching, historical tours and unnature activities. Exciting trips are plannedor other Metroparks and local destinations.Transportation will be provided.
Camp will be held rain or shine with plentyo rainy day options. Equipment, supplies

The Canal Experience
This unique, educational attraction justacross the Maumee River rom GrandRapids, takes visitors back to 1876 during aone-hour cruise aboard an authentic canalboat. Stop at the Isaac Ludwig Mill to seehow water power is used to saw logs andgrind grain, and nish your visit at theGeneral Store.May: Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to1 p.m. and Saturday, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Glass City Marathon To Wind Through Wildwood

Wildwood Preserve and the University/ParksTrail will be part o a new course or this
years Glass City Marathon, April 25.
The event, centered at the University oToledo, will oer a race experience designedor the entire amily, oering multiple eventsincluding a marathon, hal marathon, ve-person marathon relay, 5K and two kidsraces. Several water stops along with medical
services will be provided along the racecourse.
Marathon weekend will promote health andwellness or the entire amily as well. Inconjunction with the races, a Wellness andFitness Exposition will be held at Savage
Arena Saturday April 24, rom 10 a.m. to7 p.m. Beverages, snacks and an awards
ceremony will be held ollowing the race atUT Lot 10, behind the Glass Bowl. Cash andprizes will be awarded to the top ve maleand emale nishers overall and in 14 age
categories.
The 34th annualMarathon, pre-sented by theUniversity o Toledoand WTOL-Channel11, is produced bythe Toledo Road-runners Club, which has partnered with

Facility RentalsWhether youre planning a board meeting or a baby shower, a team banquet or a amily
reunion, Metroparks oers a variety o meeting rooms and open shelters to suit your needs.
Metroparks members receive a 20 percent discount on the cost o all acility rentals, any day
o the week. Other discounts may be available on weekdays only or non-prot and senior
citizens organizations, and other government agencies.*Only one discount per rental may be applied.
Manor House
Reserve the Wildwood Manor House or your wedding or other special occasion. Rooms can
accommodate as ew as 8 to as many as 80 people. The Manor House has several unique
wedding packages to choose rom.
Outdoor Weddings
Weddings are welcome in Metroparks public areas by reservation.
