Marlena John, COO of Mindful Crowd, is responsible for building and launching their new Crowdfunding site. She brings 10+ years of professional experience in the food & beverage and health & wellness industries. Marlena has been called a “numbers whiz” and has a natural talent for financial analysis, investment due diligence and systems thinking. She strongly believes that we must align our money with our values in order to move the needle and have the biggest positive impact possible. Kim Kasaleonis is a founder and Managing Partner at Breakaway Funding, LLC, a company that operates a securities-based crowdfunding portal bringing together U.S. businesses seeking growth capital and investors seeking a competitive return while investing in the companies in their community. Prior to Breakaway Funding, LLC, Kim was the CEO and Chairman of Circle Bank in Novato. During her tenure at Circle Bank, she lead the one-branch insolvent company into a $320mm, six branch community bank. Kim has been recognized with many awards, including the San Francisco Business Times ‘Top 150 Most Influential Women in the Bay Area’ in 2012, and into the Marin Women’s Hall of Fame in 2013.
